JMOM, I asked my husband and he said at the very least the phone numbers between calls and texts are accessible. This is assuming he uses the same phone line (phone number) and switches out phones. Any time it's restored back to factory (which is likely what he did since it was the store's phone) the context of texts, apps, photos etc is gone. And I'm sure an investigator would have access to data and records maybe we don't even know are saved somehow. I'm hopeful anyhow, it could really help fill in the missing spaces!

I've thought of that as well. And the only conclusion that supports the theory I can come to is this: If someone is not the brightest, a little immature, a little self centered and a tiny bit scared (I'm trying to be kind here) maybe anything illegal threatens them on equal levels. Just my opinion

I'll go with latter because that makes sense with ALL of the friends being afraid to say something.

Another thought that popped into my head after reading y'all's thoughts on parental reactions to their kids' actions-- most kids are naughtier at home than in public. My parents used to say thank God our kids are well-behaved in public because they're absolute heathens at home!

Kids can take their parents unconditional love for granted and be much more disrespectful at home than they'd ever be in the public eye. If he's a creep, his parents know it. Whether or not they'd acknowledge it to the public is another story, but they know their son.

Culmination of several days' thoughts--

After re-watching the unedited video, I am again struck by the strength of EA’s accent and language-acquisition indicators—the articles and prepositions seem more consistent with someone who is newer to English than what we seem to know of him.

If the family has ‘insulated’ themselves linguistically, their community involvement (accion aside, of course) would probably be centered around common language, too, and the closer to the mother-tongue mother-land, the better. Was it Honduras?

This may be why we’ve not been able to dig up too much when church and community participation have been pondered-- maybe it’s a cultural nucleus that we can’t quite access.

A reluctance to publicly condemn is not the same thing as proclaiming his innocence, and there are several limiting factors with regard to presenting alternatives to his exclusive guilt. As has been mentioned, the sleuthing guidelines is the biggie right now, but it is understandable why they’re in place, and I like that we are doing our best to be respectful of the TOS.

As we generate ideas and theories, one thing to continue to keep in mind is the overall behavior of LE and clues which can be obtained from an absence of words and behavior, rather than by what is presented.

If they thought this was a random/stranger abduction, how might things be different? What are things that we might see in the media and directly from the police force?

What we have NOT seen speaks volumes…

(IMO, IMO, IMO)

BBM - Surveillance video. IMO.

Thank you, so if the context of text messages is gone, does the log at least show phone number and time that the text message was sent? TIA

According to him, yes. He said it's as simple as logging into your account and seeing them. It's the actual context of things that occured on the phone that are tricky, ie the words of the text. But they can definitely see if and when any communication took place!

BBM - Surveillance video. IMO.

Exactly.

There was never any "does anyone recognize this man (or these vehicles)?" because they already knew. Though the media chose the parking garage for the 'setting' of some of the pieces, it didn't seem like LE dwelled much on it-- presumably because they already knew.

There wasn't too much in the way of safety/awareness PSAs, even, because-- presumably-- they already had a strong idea of who knew.

Perhaps and hopefully, LE has some essential information off the phones of others who he/she may have contacted and who hadn't wiped their phones clean.

Question for the mods: if alternate theories are introduced without specific identification of others, would that be allowed? For example, saying "Person A, B, C" etc without names or initials? I am interested in hearing what others think but many don't want to break the rules. Is there a way this can be done within TOS?

Thanks!

From what I've seen, the posts that have to do with my theories have all gone poof and mods have said that the subjects introduced were not allowed to be discussed, so that's why I'm not throwing those ideas around. I wish we could, but I'm going to stick by the TOS that are established here and just wait it out until LE reveals more, or we get clearance to discuss other people/scenarios.

About the phones-- I made a visit to the phone store the other day to upgrade, and I was surprised to see that they kept a basket of sim cards to test out if problems were related to the phone or the card.

Because my phone was having issues, they had to do some experimenting, which involved popping out my sim card and placing it in another phone to see if it worked (it did, instantly responding to my phone number) and popping several cards in and out of my device to see if the problem was the phone.

Everything hinges on that little card, and swapping out can be instant. Same thing with factory wiping-- nothing fancy or technical about it. Shockingly-- scarily!-- quick and easy.

Good banter, like it. He did get manager position at sprint so he must have level of intelligence. If my family were to be disappointed in me for extracurricular money making ventures or murder, I would still go with the former. Moo
Well just for arguments sake, if you're immature and self centered are you thinking about your parents being disappointed or are you thinking no way am I going to jail - for anything?

Definitely food for thought. You would think since they have him tagged at Custer Gantry northbound on 121 the experts would have some idea of where CM might be. As far as he knew, he had only a few hours at the most to do what he needed to do before she would be reported missing. Who in the circle of friends would have a beef with CM and why would EA be willing to take her to someone with nefarious intentions?

And never be "scared off" always speak what you think. It can get annoying so you take a break and come back. Everyone's here for the same reason I believe. We want to find Christina. I think your theory is pretty interesting too!

Yes, THIS. ^^^ Times 10

I personally don't just go off that bite mark though. My theory actually is more plausible without it.

IMO they knew within days who took her; now I think they might know the why and are very close to the where. MOO

Good points made. IIRC he is 23-24 years old. At this age I was a Charge Nurse and would have known what would be the lesser of two evils, so to speak. Not everyone is the same though.

I'm not sure the new Sprint iPhones use a SIM card though. Some do, some do not. Sometimes all data is imbedded in the phone and I know that was the case with Sprint iPhone's for awhile. People didn't like that because it made switching difficult. Not sure if it was ever changed though. Does anyone know if the New ones have one?

Not putting much stock into the bite mark. Love to hear your theory.

I think there was a car accident
I think christina was hurt
I think someone was worried they'd get in trouble and they left her or put her somewhere.
