I never understood why searches never took place in Fort Worth or that route. Her last text did infer she was coming home.

Fort Worth is so big, and it's nearly an hour to get there. That's a lot of square mileage to cover between Plano and Ft. Worth. How would you guess where to even start? I think it's a smart move to try to trace EA's movements, which it seems like they are doing. VIs have indicated that EA's exit from SRT is known. I'd keep trying to track him from there.

PPL lie!
Its a fact!

I don't know if he killed her None of us do.
Personally I don't think he did and I feel its someone else.

Well said! And a liar does not a killer make. Some people lie just for the h3!! of it.

If somebody wanted to make it appear as though they had nothing to do with her disappearance, somebody might place her closer to fort worth, if only to distance themselves.

And somebody would probably switch vehicles to do so.

Texas is big all over! : ) It's a lot of ground to cover from Plano to Allen. When Equusearch was here and "ran out of places to search" why wasn't it suggested to search toward Fort Worth - just in case? Guess LE has this bagged and tagged. Murder 1 - death penalty - room at Huntsville Walls Unit all ready. NO need for a trial. Maybe I'll drive to Huntsville - only about 50 miles from where I live and watch the execution live.

You definitely have a good point there. But where would you start looking? Gotta find out where EA went that night, if he really saw his brother, etc. The search has to be based on some sort of information, not just "Ft. Worth". It's too big

ETA: I guess there is also the chance that they have searched near Ft. Worth? I don't know where PPD searched

I don't think that's what they do. I consider them professionals and I respect their opinion on that. The searches should be lead by information.

Have they set a trial date yet? I have been trying to keep up with the news , but since I am up in the northern states I tend to miss a lot. Has the DA filed for the DP? I know Tx loves using that DP, which is great if we can get all the filthy animals that are guilty out of the way! But I digress, and word on the charges? Will this be tried in Plano or Allen or Ft Worth? I wonder if NG will come to town to do live courtroom footage. Sorry if I am running on, gotta type fast before the baby needs to be burped.! Thanks in advance for the info! I love me some Web Sleuthers!! <3 <3

Great Questions! Texans do love their death penalty. It's one of the few states you can actually see the death penalty line move...... There's an execution scheduled this week. Dude represented himself wearing a purple cowboy suit and big cowboy hat. Trying to say he's too crazy to kill now. Murdered his in-laws in front of his wife and baby.

Speaking of DP - Utah is voting to bring back the firing squad. I think I'd prefer the injection to a firing squad. It's quick either way I suppose.

Death penalty - murder 1 - aren't there certain requirements that have to be met? Like if EA claimed he had an accident and she was seriously injured and he left her - I don't think that's a death penalty case - that's more like involuntary manslaughter. Yep been through a manslaughter case - not fun. Now if EA's intent from the beginning was to rape and assault CM and killed her in the act of raping her and had planned it out and she had to die because she knew him and he had a rape kit in his car - that is premeditated and definitely MURDER 1. :sigh: hard to think about.

That is correct :drumroll:

I'll have to pull Tim's interview, but when he left he said he would be back if there were more areas that needed to be searched. I don't think he's been back. I have the utmost respect for Tim Miller. He's been to hell and back. He's built a memorial where he found Laura his daughter.

I've seen Equusearch in action - jaw-dropping amazing folks!

O/T: Texas has killed 2 women on death row this year. Yep! That death row line moves pretty fast here.

If somebody didn't go to Fort Worth often and just google mapped it, the undeveloped area between 30 and 180 (called Meadowbrook? ) might look appealing. Just south of the Trinity...

Meadowbrook sounds interesting. Trinity River too. What about some place like Anna?

  • #574
No YOU did not at all. :-)

The Jessica mistake was simply a case of me saying one name out loud (Jessica, a friend of mine) and accidentally typing it instead of the name I was thinking (Christina). I was not mistaking a different case, and I did not in any way mean to belittle Christina or offend anyone! Simply a typo!

There are just so many places that could have been used if you knew that particular area. I think there was a pot farm that was discovered along the Trinity a few years ago that was in that general vicinity. There are also many areas to the northeast that are undeveloped, once you get off of 75 for a few miles. Toward Whitewright, toward Blue Ridge, toward Princeton and like you said Anna.

I think the jessica mistake came from the post about the girl from austin who died from taking Extasy and had deadly reaction.

No, I am not familiar with that case. It really was just a typo! I was saying the name Jessica out loud referring to a friend, and accidentally typed it even though I meant to type Christina. I am very sorry for offending anyone!!
I just want the focus here to be on what's important - finding Christina!

The back and forth needs to stop, warnings have been given, please don't find your self on the outside looking in.

Please provide a link where drugs are involved in Christina's disappearance, or don't go there.

Rumors are not allowed, please provide links when posting something as fact.

Thanks

I do that -- if I talk to someone while I'm writing, I invariably end up writing what I'm saying.

Not a bad idea :drumroll::drumroll::drumroll::drumroll:

Another thing about the Trinity River area-- and I'm showing my suburban-oblivion colors here-- whenever I've heard anyone mention it, there's this collective sigh, heavy with 'that's-where-bad-things-happen'.

I'm ten years older than Christina and company, but I wouldn't be surprised if they held that belief (albeit stereotypical) of that area, too.

So, if somebody needed it to look like bad-things-unrelated-to-Plano/Allen had befallen her, that area could work.

I'm just not so sure he would drive around aimlessly, without a clue where he was going... I think he would have to be familiar with the area.. maybe he is, though... dunno
