I am confused too honestly. We are missing some pieces to the puzzle for sure but it is coming together I believe.

Yeah was just checking to see if I missed anything. He didn't present it as a fact so figured as much.

Wish I could be of more help. Hope and pray LE, PI, search team are on the right track.

Are the dogs continuing to search? Do we know how long they planned to stay? I was feeling optimistic that they would find something but the longer it goes, not so much. :-(

Yes, it is. I completely agree.

I don't know Christina like you do, but I can't imagine the waiting.... and waiting.. and hoping and searching.

IMO turning the phone off was planned. Maybe involved in illegal activity. Not wanting to be traced. Whatever happened during that time which led to CM's disappearance was unplanned.

So sorry, I am playing catch-up! (side note: seems like I missed a lot from 5PM yesterday to 9AM this am) Anyway, with respect, i do not agree with this. Why would EA think the police will/are tracking his phone for 'illegal activity' BEFORE he did something to her (or something happened to her whether it be an accident or not). To believe this, I would then have to believe that again, EA was unlucky and just happened to turn off his phone because of said illegal activity and then coincidentally his friend Christina is missing. .. I can't make that leap given all the other things.

That's exactly what I think, too. And that's why I think more people were involved. I don't think there was a plan to kidnap her or hurt her, but I think something happened before/during/after some illegal activity which WAS planned.

back to my same question and still catching up so I apologize if this is covered: why would EA or this group of people think their phones will be traced? I can't think of anything besides a missing person, murder, or something MAJOR that police would take the time to look as some small time dealer's phone records... they or he HAD to have planned her disappearance. This is no coincidence IMHO.

I still keep thinking he took her keys earlier in the night, lept at the chance to give her a ride to her dads or a friends nearby, and as soon as she was done calling HF from his phone he turned is phone off so HF couldn't call back and interrupt. From there on what triggered their brawl, I don't know but it seems SA related (and probably didn't help if he had drug/alcohol in his system). Of course my theory has changed a few times with the release of more and more information. If they would release everyone's phone records, so we could see who was calling and texting who leading up to their departure from the garage, that would probably paint a much clearer picture.

That is what makes sense to me. I think he knew something bad was going to happen that he didn't want to be connected to, so he turned his phone off. The information we received yesterday makes everything seem so much more sinister.

However, if this was planned I would think EA or whoever was working with him would have concocted a better alibi.

It seems that even if others from the party were involved, EA played a bigger role than they did. If they only helped with a cover up I would think they'd be falling all over themselves to point to EA and get immunity for their small role. Before yesterday I thought that might be happening behind the scenes, but the PI's comments indicate otherwise. Which then makes me wonder if they had a larger role. Planning?

Still lots and lots of questions and puzzles, but for me, I see more probability of EA's guilt than I did a few days ago.

Do we know what EA was doing for the four days between CM being seen entering the garage and the missing persons report being made?
Was he going to work? When was he fired for stealing the phone? Was he acting normal? Who did he see and speak too? Does he have another phone LE don't know about? Where did he tell his parents he was when he was locked up for a week in September for the phone theft?
I have so many more questions :(

MOO!!

MOO!!

Good questions. And to add more.... What was his reaction when he was initially told Christina was missing? And the other party goers? Wonder what communications took place during and after those 4 days.

Sorry, I didn't help at all....this is sooo frustrating!!!

JMOM, any insight to anyone's reactions? I totally understand that you are limited in what you can share.

It is a roller coaster for sure. But I am confident we will find her. :-)

I have no clue about reactions. Some were at the church searching and helping with flyers etc.. seemed helpful, however we know they are all pretty much silent or defensive now. I am just to point with all of this that they really don't matter to me. I just want to find Christina and wish they would tell the truth. If each of them did that, the puzzle could be solved and Christina would be home. That is what is so frustrating to me. I know that whoever did whatever will come out in time and they will be dealt with accordingly by LE, so I am not so much worried with all of that. And Paula will get to the bottom of it. Between she and LE it will be solved. I just want Christina home. JMO

So he turned his phone off? What kind of phone(s) does he have? I can't seem to recall. I have an iphone, which you never really turn off, you just put it on silent, but it is always on.

Thanks, I absolutely love your positive attitude!!! You've been through a lot, I appreciate all you do here and out there for Christina and her family. You sound every bit as determined and tough as Jonni. I've said it before, but it stands repeating, she's lucky to have you!!

He had a Samsung Galaxy S 5 Gold (per the arrest record)

I think EA had a gold Galaxy.

And you can turn off the iPhone, just hold the power button (top right) long enough and you'll get a slide bar that says "slide to power off". Unless your power button is busted like my daughter's ;-)

I wonder what's not happening in the Grand Jury that isn't meeting today ;)

  • #938
Per Jonni on CharlaA Show: @ 1:30 AM - 2 cars left before the other people at party went to get Whataburger

Per Anna, almost everyone there that night has been cooperative but there are some other people holding back information. Anna says it is "very likely" that drugs were going on at the party that night. Police have assured them they don't care what else was going on that night (as far as getting them in trouble for drugs).

  • #939
Per Anna, no grand jury scheduled at this time. LE only gathering all information.

  • #940
Per Jonni, EA has still not reached out to family. Has not apologized, has not said he wished he would have done something different, or asked what he can do to help bring Christina home.
Jonni says she sent him a long text, asked to meet with him, said he can bring his lawyer, no cameras, but with no reply back.
Jonni says her and Anna had a press conference with EA's parents right there. Parents made no eye contact. Neither of EA's parents speak English (per Jonni)
Jonni says LE tells family about 95% of information, but keep 5% private.
