It truly is tragic and has been my biggest fear: that the family was being duped by HF. The concern really is still with finding Christina, and I hope those close to her know that we all feel that way, too. Focusing on this latest development is not putting attention elsewhere, in my opinion, because I have felt from the beginning that this was the root of her disappearance. I think the rest of the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place -- hopefully soon.
I feel so bad for her family. I know they want to find her and have some peace.

I could not have said this better, so won't try. Just wish we had more than a "thanks" button at times.

I have no experience with drugs so I am looking for comments. I have heard it said many times dealers are not users. Dealers know they cant be messed up in the head to effectively buy and sell.

Profitable dealers are usually not users. None of these appear to be living a fancy lifestyle, IMO.

Deep breaths have been taken. I am fine. Still focused on finding Christina. Very unsettling to say the least, the events of the last few days but we will get through it. Disappointed, feel duped, feel mad, feel sad. Christina deserves so much more. She works hard, is a college graduate, she has such a bright future. We will just stay focused on our main priority and that is bringing her home.

I am still trying to get them answered myself. I am not sure what this arrest means if anything. I am hoping hoping hoping that someone is going to start talking so we can find Christina.

You know, I did notice that a lot of HF's skateboarding pics are in downtown Dallas. Maybe (definitely) some people get out more than me, but as a person living in Dallas, I only venture out to Ft. Worth on occasion. One of the articles about the drug bust also said that HF was arrested in Addison. He did seem to spend a lot of time on the other side of the metroplex.

There was a picture of HF skateboarding that there was a lot of discussion and controversy about. It was taken on the afternoon of the evening Christina went missing and I think taken by Christina or at least posted to SM on that date. There was confusion over where/when the picture was taken, etc. Does anyone remember this specific picture or have it? All of this JMO and IIRC. Thanks.

If he says anything at all, I doubt it would be to help us find Christina. I sincerely doubt he could plea bargain out of a million $ fine and 20 years. Imo

With the prospect of Spending 20yrs in jail, he has no excuse now not to tell where she is. I guarantee that the feds are working him over in interrogation!

Taken at the Holocaust Museum and uploaded at around 8pm the night she went missing. We were never able to determine WHEN the pic was actually taken however. It is still on her instagram I believe.

Ahh okay thank you - learn something new here every day. I guess that is a myth. It would explain him not caring if Christina got home safely because no telling what shape he was in at the time. JMO

This just made me relate to a situation close to home that I have witnessed first hand and you both are absolutely right.

My sisters husband was a drug user of cocaine. He hid it very well or tried to by only doing it on weekends or if my sister was gone. On a particular day we left to go shopping and would be gone for hours. We got into a pretty bad car accident due to black ice on the road and my sister was pinned in the car, her leg broken. She was taken to the hospital and we tried reaching her husband to let him know and he would not answer. She had to have surgery and was in the hospital for a week and he never came to the hospital. As her family we were furious! How could he behave that way. Come to find out he had made a call to his dealer the day we left and was already high by the time we tried calling to let him know his wife was in an accident and had a broken leg. Instead of coming down off that high he went on a week long binge taking advantage of her being gone. He also sold almost everything in the house.

He had an addiction and that drug was all that mattered to him at that moment in time.

I agree that the focus needs to remain on Christina but I do believe this information coming out will be helpful one way or another in finding her. just have to stay focused at the matter at hand and not get too wrapped up in irrelevant pieces of the puzzle.

For ME at least, it stemmed from whether Christina and HF were together before she went to girls night out. Because it has been said he was well across town, it just always bugged me. Probably nothing though.

We discussed it because it had been posted to her Instagram right before her disappearance. We were trying to figure out her whereabouts prior to arriving at the Shops and trying to determine where HF was that evening. We were just trying to put together a timeline of events and locations.

Yes, and now we have discovered that it looks like he spent much of his time on this side of the metroplex. The crowd he was arrested with was not from Ft. Worth.

I wondered if turning over his phone helped DPD out with this drug case more than helping find sweet Christina. I used to think that HF was involved, but I just can't look past the other stuff with EA. I think he did the dirty work, whatever that turns out to be, but the motive is the only thing I may have changed my opinion on Sweet girl mixed in with the wrong people

Based on my experience, I would think that if HF is involved with the actual trafficking of the drugs, he has smaller guys below him doing the majority of the distribution. That is, IMO, he was buying and then selling in large quantities to dealers below him. The people below him then sell in smaller quantities to individuals. Wonder who his minions are...
