Just watched CBS local news and they said more on the 10 o'clock news about what police have been doing in backyard of EA's home. I wonder if he buried Chritinas's belongings or other potential evidence linking him to the kidnapping?

Had to chime in, have been moving, such a drag... :/ So glad they are moving forward with this, I jumped for joy when I read of the arrest. I wanted something to happen before Christmas but I was hoping they would find her first. I am afraid of what the results will be when they do. Nobody wants to think of the last moments of their child's life - was she scared? Sorry, I just don't think she's still with us after this long of a period of time. They still need her to honor her life and the years they did have with her.

BREAKING: Aggravated kidnapping arrest made in connection with Christina Morris
Plano PD still searching for missing woman

At 7:50 a.m., Plano Police Department detectives executed an arrest warrant on Enrique Gutierrez Arochi, 24, at his Allen home.

*snip

"The basis of this arrest stems in part from results of DNA samples that were collected earlier," said Officer David Tilley, Plano PD spokesman. "We still do not know where Christina is ... but it appears that she was in [Arochi's] car."
Tilley did not say what sort of DNA evidence was collected, only that it came back positive as Christina's DNA.

*snip

"I’m glad they got him and I’m glad he’s not at his house anymore feeling like he’s got away with something," said Mark Morris, Christina's father. "Hopefully he talks now. He’s looking at a long time in jail."
The Morris family found out about the arrest when detectives arrived at their home to deliver the information firsthand.

I am so glad EA has been arrested... :jail:

Now... Where is Christina? :please:

Evidence that could very well implicate others. If anyone reading needs the number to Plano PD, it's 972-424-5678. Might be a good idea to call them before they show up at your door with a warrant for your arrest. Could save you a lot of embarrassment and possibly even some jail time. HTH

ETA: The dominoes are about to start falling...

Hopefully they aren't on WS and are taking their last hot shower alone for a while before they turn themself in.

Backyard, wow! Do we know if they could have had dogs at his house today that got a hit? I always wondered about him putting her in shed while he came up with better plan.

Ha I just didn't want to make gigglingtoes lose it over the mention of the A-word! But that is seriously a pretty good weight gain. Weight of the world will do that to a person.

He also had a lot of time to sit around & eat.. probably didn't venture out very often & didn't have a job to go to...

No, only if LE puts her in the case. ;)

Ok thanks. But can we at least have a clue who or what? For example, HF's gf or EA's gf?

ETA: Disregard this post about needing further info.

But huge thank you to JnRyan!

BBM, agreed.

I don't think if he hit her with his car that it happened in the garage. Either she got in willingly for whatever reason, or it was a quick grab/subdue to get her in the car and took off.

Yea your probably right. Just wish we knew something

So we have EA now pretty much confirmed to have "kidnapped" Christina, she was in his car based on DNA findings ..even though VI stated blood found in garage I'll presume she was alive in his car. Where would he take her? My theory was he delivered her to someone, with drugs/debt being the root. I originally thought somewhere off in the boonies hence damage to his vehicle (camaro isn't meant to take off road) but now wondering if in the stress of the situation in the garage he accidentally swiped a pole...Any other ideas?

If he delivered her to someone why would he be 3 hours late to work? Long drive out, maybe? Do you think she willingly got in the car with him or he knocked her out and put her in? Lots of questions still out there.

Anyone know when his arraignment will be?

They did a really good job! Do you think it should have a photo of Christina as well?

Come 100% clean now, or don't cry when PD is causing a scene at your job or beating down your door at 0-dark-30 in the morning in front of your family. Food for thought...

The latter. Look him up on the Collin County Jail site (link is somewhere on here....I'm on my phone so hard to copy/paste) and then scroll down from his mug shot.

This is the Collin County jail site. He is listed under the last name of Gutierrez.

http://apps.collincountytx.gov/injail/InJailSearch.aspx

His gf is listed as one of the approved visitors.

Sorta OT, but I'm curious why Gutierrez. Being of Hispanic descent, usually the mother's maiden name is taken on as a middle name with the father's last name. Both my grandparents have their mother's maiden name as their middle name.

I am so glad they are making so much progress on this case & I hope they continue to do so.

Praying they bring Christina home to her family!

I didn't see any dogs while they were reporting, but detectives were carrying out evidence in paper bags. hopefully they did or will bring dogs. Ihave my dvr set to record 10 o'clock news.

Ya know… I really don't want to think this way, but it crossed my mind. The trunk has come up several times. If he put her in there, could she have still been there when he clocked in at 8am? 11am? What did he do the rest of that 3 day weekend?? Were his parents home or out of town?

Police or the govt doesn't give a crap what order they put your name in when they're getting you booked or giving you license etc. means nada to them.
My husbands health insurance and is backwards as well as another document and it's annoying but no one changes it.
