Well I did as you suggested and looked through about 15 other inmates and non of them had attorneys listed. I did find interesting however one inmate with the same first name also charged with agg kidnapping first degree with a bond of 50,000. he also lists a wife and a girlfriend on his visitor list but no attorney
Well, write and tell them to check the Collin County records because there is a discrepancy between what they wrote and what the record is.
(As, yes, I know that newspapers don't make mistakes in the rush to be the first ones to get out a storyeace: )
If it's on the first page, he has one listed. I just looked at the first page and finally stopped because every single person except one has an attorney listed. That persons charges were traffic/child not going to school. Otherwise, everyone I saw had one, so I stopped.
I am beyond confused,
I don't see an attorney listed on page #1 or page #2. :gaah:
So has his "address".. no longer in "Inf"...
I believe Dallas Morning News has checked their facts!
"Paul Johnson, Arochi’s attorney, declined to talk about McElroy’s offer Saturday afternoon.
He also declined to comment on the arrest, saying he was waiting for copies of the arrest report and search warrant.
“We’re just processing what we’ve got now and waiting for an opportunity to review the evidence that formed the basis of the charge,” Johnson said."

I believe you have to click on each individual name...
I disagree that they or any news check their facts. News reporters want to be first in reporting. I have seen on WS how they speak first and then articles get deleted or modified because they got the correct information. In one case they reported that DNA belonging to the victim had been found. In another, and I am wondering if this is the case here, a "person of interest" had consulted an attorney. They said it was his attorney, but he was never hired. He later hired someone else. I am wondering if that is the case here, that PJ was just someone he spoke to and not his actually attorney.
Also, someone I grew up with made a very horrible choice one night. He was in the papers for several months. I can tell you no one checked their facts before publishing the articles. They didn't check with LE or anyone for that matter. They had his arrest record, his home city wrong, details of what happened, and so much more.
It may be possible they are right here, I just don't know, but they don't habe the best record with reporting.
I did and I scrolled all the way to the right and where it says attorney, there is no attorney listed. I see US Department of Homeland Security listed as the issuing authority on the offense of immigration detainer.

This may be more confusing than clear anything up but AA tweeted on 11/6 "Accion America requested that Paul Johnson join us in our effort to protect the rights of Enrique Arochi, retained as his legal counsel" IMO BBM https://twitter.com/accionamerica/status/530373070905544705
He's not listed. It's already been posted twice today by me, and once yesterday by someone else. I think it's this Accion American thing that has people confused. If he has a contract with AA/CQ and just goes out with him to do...well, whatever it is AA/CQ do (anyone?)...that's misleading.
Seems to me that if he's been paid by the family and is the attorney, why would Collin County not have him in the official records? I think - but don't know - that attorneys have to submit letters of representation to the court/police...or, at least show up at something like an arraignment and be listed on that type of paperwork.
I can't imagine that on the arraignment paperwork that if and attorney were present for the defendant that he/she would not also be listed as the defendant's attorney in the County's own inmate listings.
But, who know, maybe I'm overthinking it  ...or, underthinking it.
Btw the media and the official record, I'm going with the official record. Yes, they've made changes to it such as his name and gf, but those were made fairly quickly. His attorney of record, if I remember correctly, has to be in the system. Otherwise, how would he get in to see his client. I do find it strange that none is listed. But that would certainly be a reason for the high bail amount if he did not have an attorney at the original hearing.
O/T, but Eric & Kim Williams, neither have atty listed, and we know they have one. A lot of jails do not list attorney at all.
