I personally don't see someone swapping attorneys late in the game...JMO

A lot of times with high profile cases, attorneys will team up. So maybe Accion did retain PJ for this case, but he is obviously "busy"...so this new guy will be named on the case and act as a lead but PJ could very well be part of that team and act as partner. They'll need all the help they can get!!
Most (not all) high profile cases, attorneys take the case pro bono (FREE to the client) since they know regardless of the outcome, they'll get immense publicity which often sets them up for a very wealthy career. Yes, EA has a high profile case, not many get onto Nancy Grace (and others) without it being pretty significant.
PPD is extremely good at what they do, they have a very sophisticated and educated staff, they have a lot of money to spend and are nationally ranked among the top PD in the US. I have no doubt we will hear THE TRUTH completely once this case gets to trial. PPD aren't fools, by a long stretch. In fact, If I had ties to this case, I'd be thankful this case is being handled thru Plano as opposed to Dallas, Houston or Allen PD. (All my opinions of course).
Tilley is hired as the spokesman for a reason....he knows how, when and what to say to protect their cases while still "informing" te public. That's his career, he knows what he's doing with every word that comes out of his mouth....no doubt.

It's frustrating for us, but can you imagine CM parents?! I'd probably be in jail by now, prob charged with murder and not even giving a damn!

Or his alibi being that he was under surveillance....
Dea does not put people under surveillance per say. They set people up. They make friends with them and buy drugs, and basically just meet up with them. They will get involved in helping the suspect sell drugs. It is not on camera. Only large drug deals are usually filmed. They will wear a voice recorder or bug. I have 1st hand knowledge of how they operate.

Re: Radio Show

I think Jonni confirmed that Christina is seen using EA's phone on camera.

Also interesting she said that EA cleared his phone the day that Christina went missing.

She said only 2 out of 13 (or 15?) video cameras in the garage worked. :tantrum:

Jonni suspected EA from day 1

Sorry truetexan....didn't intend to respond directly to you...I was just reading through and decided this is where I was going to stop and respond. Nothing personal, and nothing regarding your post specific.

Good post.. Is it possible that PJ simply declined the case? He's already high-profile (and probably wealthy).. And, I agree with you about Tilley & PPD... they run a tight ship.

Keith Gore, Lawyer has obtained "no-bills" for clients charged with a broad range of felony offenses, including:

Aggravated AssaultPossession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin)
Attempted Murder
Assault Family Violence (enhanced with prior convictions)
Sexual Assault
Indecency with a Child
RobberyTheft
Driving While Intoxicated 3rd Offense
Burglary of a Building
Burglary of a Habitation
Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle
Other violent and non-violent felony charges

Wow. He must he so proud.
Especially about that Assault Family Violence enhanced with prior convictions.

I feel a little sick now.

He prob asked not to be named as lead atty, since you can see the media doesn't have problem phoning his office for info. I'm sure he doesn't want that drama in the middle of what he's doing currently. He just doesn't have the time.
Yes, he's surely wealthy and you can't get more high profile than what he's doing now....So it would be smart for him to decline the case.,

NOW I'm wondering if PJ was ever EA's attorney. This may be why there was no attorney of record on the Collin County site. Maybe PJ is Accion America's attorney or there is some relationship there and he did it as a favor to his client.

PJ was probably his attorney of record on the stolen phone charge. Ya never know when that stolen phone will land you on death row!! EA was just trying to "be prepared" like a boy scout :)

RE: Radio Show

Paula says she has come up with 2 scenarios for the situation

She says she always thinks its possible that a suspect had some help

Tricia asks Paula what her 2 scenarios are and Paula says she is keeping it close to the vest because if there are other people involved she doesn't want to tip them off

I know, sexual assault and indecency with a child. Just makes me truly hope they were indeed innocent. IMO.. Always wondered how some attorneys sleep at night.

RE: Radio Show
Jonni says 2 people have contacted her about EA.
One was neighbor that he stalked and looked in her window. Girls parents contacted EA's parents twice. Girls parents then went to police dept.
Employees say he has a bad temper, he does a bunch of drugs, she says this will be testified in court.
She says she begged him face to face and he literally came out of the back door and puffed his chest up and wouldn't speak to her.
His parents shook Jonni's hands. Father wouldn't look Jonni in the eye. His mother basically called her a hypocrite and a liar. Never asked how they could help prove EA is innocent or to find Christina.
"The fact that the parents didn't come to you, even to say "I'm sorry, I wish there was something we could do." To attack you, and basically call you a hypocrite, right there, that tells me so much about what type of parents they are and how they raised that young man and none of it is good. None of it is good." - Tricia

So what is the consensus?
EA hired a new attorney bc he couldn't afford PJ?
Or he hired a new attorney bc he didn't want to agree to what PJ was telling him?

Why do you think he got a new attorney?

Money, me thinks.

Ok, I apologize in advance, but shouldn't we be allowed to discuss a radio show about a case in which the OWNER of the forum is discussing things that posts get deleted about in the thread? That doesn't make sense.
