I thought…. They all went to Whataburger in EA & CM's cars & that is when they were seen entering the parking garage together at 11:32pm returning from Whataburger. Because they were all at PP's earlier when EA said he'd had about 10 shots at 10:30pm. (Side thought: 10 shots & you're driving an hour later?!?!?!)

No they were going to Henry's Tavern then. They didn't go to Whataburger until much later....after bar hopping.

Ok, so it was sealed for thirty days because they didn't want to compromise the investigation? Did anything in particular pop out that would have indicated others were implicated? Maybe the unknown male DNA? The return to the Shops area? What has changed for them to suddenly unseal the records? I wish we knew the answer to this. Did they get a piece of information that they did not have before, something they were waiting on? Or does it really have to do with his hiring of the new attorney?

The question of the day!

A new attorney? I missed that. Interesting. When & who?

Keith Gore...there's been some debate about whether he actually had an attorney to begin with, but anyway, he apparently has one now, and it is Kevin Gore.

Here's a statement from his attorney.
“My initial reaction to the affidavit for Enrique’s arrest is that it appears based largely upon conjecture and speculation, and leaves many questions unanswered. The arrest affidavit confirms that further investigation is required. We are encouraged that the police continue to investigate. In the coming weeks, I expect the court will hold a hearing on the issue of Enrique’s bond. Between now and that hearing, we will continue investigating the allegations against Enrique, and we will also continue cooperating with the police.”

I thought PJ was on record saying no comment & he was waiting for the warrant details, etc. Maybe PJ just has too much on his plate, or he wasn't interested in a case that was clearly a loser. Or EA's family couldn't afford to pay PJ's fees for an extended trial. Who knows. But interesting.

Yes, read back on the last thread, and you will see a lot of debate about the attorney/PJ issue. Or don't, lol. But I suppose we can conclude he does have one now.

I wonder if they really just had it sealed until they could do the final search at house and then they really didn't care. They wanted to get the computer or any other items and if it had been unsealed if something they wanted wasn't at house it wouldn't be available as to what warrants say for someone to hide them elsewhere if they didn't turn up at house. I'm guessing they found what they wanted at house and risk was no longer an issue. Just possible but also maybe it was timed based on new lawyer hoping he would have client reveal something.

I asked the same thing earlier. I don't even have as much as a theory why.
I think reason for releasing warrants is because ea atty will tell ea how much trouble he is in, and maybe ea will tell where cm body is located.

Yes, I am especially puzzled by the bank statements and the texts from Aug. 29th. Bank statements wouldn't show what he purchased, though it would show the stores at which he shopped. As for texts, why would he (or whoever wrote the note) be worried about those sent the day before he kidnapped Christina?
Good catch. The 29th was the day of the party and it rolled into the 30th early morning.

Bank statements showed where he used his card (kroger gas station at 10:15) and that is how the PPD knew to go and review their surveillance and got that pretty incriminating evidence of him cleaning the trunk of his car. Wonder what else he (or whoever wrote the note) was worried the bank statements would reveal.

I think EA is given to much credibility. He did something very wrong to CM and did what he thought he knew to hide it. There are so many crime shows on T.V. ( as cheesy as that sounds ) but they all give you ideas what to do. Wether it be your the victim or the suspect...

Maybe purchasing cleaning supplies at 8 am on a Saturday morning when you are supposed to be at work? Or something even worse and incriminating? Just a guess....

Uh I would take the "or don't" suggestion. ;)

Not to be the Debbie downer but I still think they should have used dogs and had more organized searches in the beginning. Still hoping she is found safe.

So sad that EA didn't even care that he could be so closely tied to her dissapearance.

What? Oh please do tell what you know...

I think she was dead instantly in the garage. Otherwise she would have tried to get out, and pulled the trunk release. Also, she could have squeaked out a text for help. I think ea went home to get help from bro after he realized what he had done. Why else would he have to use all the cleaning supplies??
A few pieces of information we have would not be explained if your theory is correct. The last text from Christina's phone was at 3:58 the exact time EA was driving out of the parking garage. Also why was he limping and saying his ribs hurt and the alleged bitemark. I dont see that happening in the few minutes in the garage.

Just finished reading the warrants. Blurry eyed.
EA is an idiot and, now I can say it, liar.

Can't take anymore in now. Asking questions so I can read opinions tomorrow.

First, observation. Christina's phone pinged in the garage several minutes earlier than believed previously (based on the info her phone was used to text HF to leave the door unlocked). No specific mention of text content.

Where was Christina while the other three went to Whataburger?

Interesting detail is the report included the fact that DNA from an unidentified male was isolated in EA's car too.
There's always something confusing that comes up right when a case sounds as if LE has a slam-dunk.

THIS SEEMS TO BE HIGHLY LIKELY! Like she was hinting to SN and leaving clues with all the text and vm before they were even needed but yet sadly the system failed her

No, her boyfriend and her friends failed her. This really makes me angry because she may have been thinking help was on the way when this all happened. But all the while HF was doing G*O*D knows what without a care in the world and I guess the "friends" just went on to bed, knowing (from their own accounts) that EA was in an agitated state. I could have sworn there were earlier MSM articles that quoted the friends as saying they didn't see EA acting strangely or appeared off in any way. Now THIS. UGH JMO

I guess I am a loner on this, but I like to read the different opinions from an objective viewpoint. Maybe it is my years of being a customer service analyst. When I am following cases I like to stay as objective as possible even though it is hard to do after following a case from day one and feeling like you know the victim. What I feel about HF not checking on Christina does not even come close to being objective lol, but the viewpoints that were raised by a couple of posters on here may prepare us for how a defense attorney will go at this case. JMO :seeya:
