.... EA knows what really happened but I don't see him speaking unless his attorney gets him to...

Yep, as much as we wish he would come clean, it's wishing for him to do something completely against his own best interests at this point. Pointing the way to CM alive gets him a certain conviction for kidnapping, and to her body fries his lying bones in ole Mr Sparky's 3-million-volt rocking chair, or the equivalent, for her murder. So, don't see any reason to think that'll ever happen.

Search warrant page 8, para 2
But since they swabbed him (part of the search warrant was to obtain DNA samples from him) I am guessing that they are trying to see if the DNA matches his, or if there was an additional male involved.

IF it's his brother they would get a familial match possibly.

ETA: This is NOT to say he was there that night. It would be purely circumstantial. It's totally likely he rode that car multiple times prior to this event.

From page 8 of SW:

"Additional samples analyzed by Bode Technologies which were also taken from Enrique Gutierrez Arochi's vehicle indicate other DNA profiles are present in the evidence collected to include DNA of an unknown male contributor."

Doh, I see someone has already posted this. Very interesting.

Maybe she is showing him the 2 keys she DOES have to show him the one she really needs is missing. Like "this is all I have" - ? They could be house keys to her parents or anything other than her house.

It's definitely odd.

what if....... one key was Christinas house key and the other Hunters house key?
Maybe the call about leaving the door open was from Hunter to Christina not the other way around!
Just a thought!

Bringing this over from the previous thread, posted by Eileen730

"I see no mental health issues.
He's a liar trying to cover his butt.
He sure had me fooled. "

That's my point, you are a really experienced sleuthers and so are others yet he managed to convince you, this is unusual IMO and makes me think that maybe he has some issues that enable him to lie so easily. IMO usually people watch this kind of interview and are immediately suspicious yet people were still strongly defending EA even after the footage was released.

Two questions...if bodily fluids were found in/around trunk, why was he "only" charged with AK? AND...why did arrest take this long? Sounds like they had so much evidence piling up. FFS.

Fluids such as saliva or blood don't prove death or extreme injury, but they do prove that person had to have been there. And, in a trunk, with him claiming she had never been in his car at all, clearly not a case of her being there voluntarily, thus a kidnapping. Maybe lots more happened, but you start with what you can prove and work from there. (Besides, if she never shows up and all they can convict him of is the AK, they can put him away for 99 years where he'll never get out and will rot in prison for what he did. So there's that.)

The return to Granite Park is definitely interesting. This will sound creepy but I have always wondered about that area and those businesses and their trash areas but brushed it off because up until now (with the Custer tolltag hit) it seemed like she would be found near Allen...now I have to wonder about those oogey feelings I get every time I drive by that area. =(

For those unfamiliar, the area where they pinged around 5am is north of the SOL and all of the apartments associated as "Shops" residences. There are several large businesses and restaurants in that area but it is 100% within a short walking distance from both the Henry's garage AND a direct walk up Parkwood (maybe 20 minutes?) from the apartment on Scruggs. For what it's worth. I hate to even think this but if there was someone at the party willing to help EA they might not want to drive to meet him because of cameras so they figure out a spot they think is safe within walking distance. =(

Maybe it wasn't' someone from the party that night, maybe this is that "friend" he mentioned had just recently moved to the Shops of Legacy.

BTW, that's not necessarily who I think helped him but I was just putting it out there as a possibility. I still think he acted alone or someone VERY close to him helped.

I have just read through the search warrant and I now feel that they left together (possibly her willingly but very possible he knocked her into the pole the dogs hit on and threw her in his trunk and left. He didnt have much time so this would have to happen quickly which leads me to hope she got in his car accepting a ride since she did not have her keys. They leave get on the Sam Rayburn Tollway and go through the toll at Custer at 4:08am but then he turns around and heads back towards the shops of legacy. Both of their cell phones pinged around the area of 5800 granite but within almost 10 mins of eachother. Hers at 4:47 (dont remember the exact time of his but believe it was 4:56) so this is where I believe he stopped (secluded area, businesses are closed, not visible from the major roads) this is where I think he received his injuries and put her in the trunk of his car. He would have had to go home from there a route that does not include tolls so this is possibly when he takes the legacy route that he originally told the PD. It still should have only taken him 18-20 minutes to get home but he arrived home 40 mins from that last ping at 5800 Granite. I am curios what time CA told police EA woke him up by coming home. From EA interview he insinuated he went straight home which is not the case.

Also the other thing that really bothers me is the empty bottle of OdoBan. What odor was he trying to clean? He thought he cleaned his car and removed all evidenc and that he had gotten away with this but thank GOD for DNA and places he missed!!

Then I'm definitely aging myself - b/c I didn't get a "hookup" from that comment. Although, I get he might have wanted to...but, how is her going to sleep (either location) going to get him any action?? If my date is falling asleep, it's time to call it a night.

Unless he was hoping to cop a feel while she was passed out?? **shudder**
Some guys just don't get it. (No offense to men in general) Then there's the ones that do get it but don't accept it..IMO
Also this is talking about a different girl at the party. He was angry/ego hurt one minute then alone with another girl the next.

If I'm reading it correctly - EA's cell pinged at BOTH Granite Park AND The Shops at 4:56a. MAYBE he drove by after "doing whatever" to see if there was any police presence?

Just a guess - it's not even 1 min of difference. I know that both are very close, but I'm scratching my head a bit on the same timestamp.

I am thinking it's a case of them trying to relate it to the proximity of the Shops of Legacy vs. saying they were actually AT the Shops of Legacy. If they both pinged at Granite Park which is in the AREA of the Shops of Legacy the below sentence would still be correct. IMO the ping of Christina's at 0447 and his at 0456 show he was in the vicinity of The Shops between those times. He could have been near Granite park, he could have been picking someone up at Scruggs, etc. I do not believe he went back in that garage because he would not have known which cameras were operational vs. which ones were not and he does not appear to have been seen again on camera. The search warrant does not indicate WHICH side of the Granite Park cell phone tower pinged (at least not that I saw) so it could have pinged on the south side which is DEFINITELY the AREA of SOL but maybe not the shops themselves...hopefully that makes sense? Haha.

“Therefore, it is Affiant’s belief that Enrique Gutierrez Arochi returned to the area of the Shops at Legacy after leaving the area initially in his vehicle and traveling on Sam Rayburn Tollway near Custer Road and that Christina Morris’ cellular device and most probably Christina Morris, herself was with Enrique Guiterrez Arochi at the time."

"Additional samples analyzed by Bode Technology which were also taken from Enrique Gutierrez Arochi's vehicle indicate other DNA profiles are present in the evidence collected to include the DNA of an unknown male contributor."

Pg. 8 second Paragraph

Thanks so much! I appreciate it.

Unless he really is his step brother. No familial match.

Also regarding the keys. IIRC her text said she couldn't find them, not that she never had them with her that night. If they were even the house keys in the photo.

Keep in mind that this only indicates an unknown male's DNA came to be in that car sometime, anytime, but no way to make it into a certain indication that EA acted in conjunction with someone else that night.

I know it's a different girl and prior to him leaving w/CM. The whole part of him not getting it is obvious and you're right....some people are dense. Especially after drinking/partying.

I was just commenting that the comment he made is bizarre. Then again, he "turned his tires" and used a "lifter" for his car. Can't really depend on him to clearly explain himself can we? :)

Unless he really is his step brother. No familial match.

My daughter and her stepbrother would have a familial match - the same father.

Usually 1 parent in the household is the same. Right??

ETA: Disregard...unless the parent hasn't had a child w/the new partner. This is getting confusing. I need more coffee. LOL

I really thought one of the VIs said the keys had been found back at the apartment, or maybe that is one of the stories that "grows legs" as the mods say. Anyway, hoping JMOM will come along shortly also.

I posted about a comment on the private FB page that said the keys had been found, JMOM asked me for details of the post but I don't remember her confirming it one way or the other. It may just be an unsubstantiated comment that has become a "fact"

In the trunk of his car is an emergency handle you can pull that will open it. It glows in the dark.
