That's the one! I couldn't think who he went with & i was trying to find a news article. Thanks for the heads up :)

Jonni McElroy, Morris' mother, said the missing woman's boyfriend is devastated by his girlfriend's disappearance and has helped distribute flyers and search on numerous occasions. McElroy said he and his father drove up to Choctaw Casino in Durant, Okla. and distributed flyers at truck stops and other locations along the way.

I do think it's a little weird to hand out flyers in Oklahoma. Assuming there's no evidence she could be in OK. Why not focus on Dallas/Fort Worth?

Unless the casino was a place she frequented? I don't know...anyway, I really don't think she is out and about just waiting to be recognized...but jmo.

I was thinking the same thing

But her mom confirmed it:

"I'm not leaving. I will not leave here until I find clues to find my daughter and it better be alive," McElroy said.

I'm not leaving. I will not leave here until I find clues to find my daughter and it better be alive.
Jonni McElroy
She told News 8 Friday that her daughter's last 15 calls the night she disappeared were to her boyfriend, who she lives with in Fort Worth.

I was more interested in the last sentence about the content of the text messages.

She's still on her parents plan so they'll have seen her last calls for sure.

I understand her bio mom lives in OK. So I guess it is possible she could have gone there. jmo

Does anyone know what LE is doing?

I don't mean that to be rude, at all, I'm just curious. I haven't heard any reports of them searching, going door to door, etc.

A few scenarios stick out in my mind. One in particular is that her friend in the garage told her he'd drive her out to FW and said he'd pick her up outside the garage after she possibly had to get something out of her car.. Just a thought.

Im sure you guys probably already knew but i see where they are giving a reward up to $5,000 for an attempt to locate her...maybe somebody will come forward. Sad if that's what it takes but maybe just maybe something.

Morris’ stepmother, Anna Morris, said her stepdaughter would have told her if she was going to take a spontaneous trip.

“She didn’t hide things,” she said. “She would have let us know for this exact reason.”

Anna Morris said she has helped raise her stepdaughter since she was 3.

“She’s unforgettable,” she said. “She’s a tiny little thing, but she has a huge presence. She’s lively. She’s loved.”

Anna Morris lives with her husband in Allen, where Christina went to Allen High School with her ex-boyfriend Aaron Logan Prendergast.

‘Everyone wants her home’

Prendergast and Morris moved in together in August 2013 after dating for a year, Prendergast said. But they broke up in October when Morris started dating his best friend, who is her current boyfriend.

“They started dating while we were still living together,” Prendergast said.

Plano police have said the current boyfriend is not a suspect.

Prendergast said he has communicated with criminal investigators twice since Morris disappeared and believes that she must have left the parking garage with someone else because her Toyota Celica coupe was still there.

Finally, finally - I've been waiting for ALP to make it into msm. Let's hope he has some clues or insight into what might have happened. Hanging for him to do an interview now.

My hinky meter is AP now.

Hinky meters are notoriously unreliable & are purchased mostly by women. I know of several posters that are on their third or fourth meters due to recalls.

When I read the article that had her mom saying something along the lines of that she would CRAWL through every weed and the tall grass if that was what she had to do to find her daughter......my heart just broke for her. As a mother, I know exactly what she meant and my prayers go out to her, Christina and all her friends and family.

How horrific for her poor mother!!! To even have to think, much less state that......there really aren't any words! It made me cry for her!

Hush that up!!! Hahahaha! I resemble that comment, but I've just got one hinky meter with varying degrees of hink.

Thanks for the laugh, though! This case is so depressing and sad.

Well, they're definitely doing something-- nobody posted at the usual speed traps. I only saw two cruisers the whole time I was out running errands today, and each was traveling solo, when they normally travel in pairs... plus, one was a sedan, while all the "usual" ones are SUVs... surely this means everybody else was redistributed to work on finding Christina!

I was trying to find some data on the number of officers for the city versus the population, but instead I bumped into this and found it both interesting and relevant, especially when so many of us locals keep reiterating the perception of safety in our city--

According to our research of Texas and other state lists there were 135 registered sex offenders living in Plano, Texas as of September 10, 2014.
The ratio of number of residents in Plano to the number of sex offenders is 2,015 to 1.
The number of registered sex offenders compared to the number of residents in this city is a lot smaller than the state average.

We know her boyfriends name & the ex-boyfriends name yet we don't know who's place she left & who she left with. Are there no investigative reporters in this area?

Do we know if ALP and "the man in the garage" is the same person? Or do we know if they are completely different people for sure?

From the same site:

Full-time law enforcement employees in 2012, including police officers: 480 (339 officers).
Officers per 1,000 residents here: 1.24
Texas average: 1.95

(I think the population in 2012 was somewhere around 270,000)

At first I was confused because it seemed like we had less police than everywhere else in Texas, which didn't seem possible... they are EVERYWHERE... but then I realized it was a ratio, so the smaller number meant more. /facepalm
