If someone was hellbent on finding a victim that night, and found an area that was out of camera range, a parking garage in the middle of the night might suit the perp---he could hide, be stationary, and with the bars, etc. chances are a girl, drinking, could appear.

Keep in mind...this girl was not walking alone. This lurker would have to be quite bold.

I think its possible someone drove by and threw her in the trunk-----but if this is the case, how come LE hasn't found or released any of evidence of this, say an image of a possible vehicle, like in Jessica Heeringa's case?

Also, just because LE doesn't name a poi or suspect, it doesn't mean they don't have one.

In addition, I've seen many cases here where friends were involved, Skylar Neese, etc, so I'm aware this is a possibility, especially if there was some kind of drama going on. But, I keep coming back to the fact she was leaving---I can't imagine someone from the party going to her car and lying in wait, that seems more like a predator thing to do, so if this happened, some serious stuff must have been going on, and LE would know about it, I think (then again, not always the case, people have killed their friends for nothing...).

I'm also out here in Frisco and my husband and I immediately thought of all that construction off 121 (west of DNT). So much open area...

Yes. Im far North but it is a quick straight shot down preston to the country.

Yes, but they split up. If he was lying in wait, he could have seen this. That's where the timing of when the friend drove off, etc is crucial. Maybe someone else might have been the victim, had Christina not had a moment alone.

And weren't those just the exit cameras? There may be more inside the garage that we haven't heard anything about. I think the police know exactly what they are doing and are holding their cards very close!

There are 3 entrances/exits to the garage. The 1 clip we've seen is from 1 of those. The other 2 we are told were non-functioning. I've been there several times and haven't paid attention as to just how many cameras or where they are placed.

I have wondered about many possibilities like elavator shafts and such if her disappearnce is indeed a suicide but as others have mentioned, I would think if she was very close by, there would have been a smell by now? Sorry for the insensitive phrasing...don't really know how else to put it.

Do we know if Christina was 'packing'?

When drugs are involved, and I'm not saying in any way they were, everything is very secretive. No one wants to tell on anyone else, no one wants to give a person up for using drugs, no one wants to call when someone overdoses. It's just a very secretive way of life.

Oh how I know ... It is a shame really. The sad thing is when the group doing it does not think of what may be a "regular dose" for one may actually be an overdose for them. Or they do not really know what they are taking.

Regarding the police silence, I hope our speculation about the reason for their silence is correct. After Margarita mentioned the Kelsie Schelling case, I read through that thread and it made me sooo discouraged about this one. :(

One thing I also want to point it, if not already stated, is it takes time to collect and be able to review surveillance footage. I'm hoping maybe its taken some time to issue warrants, identify, collect and review various surveillance footage, etc., and that there is still hope there will be a useful image captured somewhere.

Funny, now I know its like to be "that person" in the forum who has a different opinion from everyone else, lol (don't throw tomatoes at me,).

You guys having been sleuthing this case longer than I, and have also been following SM, and read all the posts in the earlier threads etc, which I have not, so you guys might be right!

I'm starting to get the feeling the ppd knows exactly who is responsible. But, until they find her, they have very little to say or do publically. As far as I can tell, the searches have been exclusively focused on specific locations in/around Allen. I live in Plano and it seems to me from driving around, that ppd cruisers are back to 'generating revenue'. My guess is that ppd is depending on volunteers/EQ to find the evidence (with their instruction).

I still want to know why boyfriend did not seem to have any concern about her not coming home to get the dog;as it was told that is why she was leaving the apt after 3am. And not staying as planned.
I thought that is what the early morning fight was about between the 2.
Why he waited till 11:30pm Tues Sept 2 to say anything is beyond me.
Had he been where all weekend?? Hospital, passed out, drugged up,jail, out of the country, party, with another girl... what??

Along the same lines, why were her friends not concerned when she didn't come back?

BBM

I think so too. I also think the family has been told to not talk at all and they know more than we think.

I was looking back for some of the older articles where it says the person seen on the CCTV video was cooperating and in one article I found that part about cooperating is gone now. Hoping he is still cooperating, but thought that was odd. Maybe it was just that one article.

This parking garage isn't that large - which is why I'm so doubtful of a stranger and the friend not noticing anything. It's well lit and fairly open.

Not saying it couldn't happen. With what we know, anything is possible. Just going by my gut and personal experience of the area. I have been there late at night (closing time) as well as lived there for several months and it's very safe.

ETA: Just thinking out loud....if PPD thought this was a stranger abduction it would be something serious. Something to alert the community. Thus far, no such warning or notice has gone out (that I'm aware of).

Welcome skrublove! And, I thought about the Trinity River too.... gulp! I keep going back to the video of the father saying something about "not filing charges." Just thought that was kind of weird statement to make and based on that I thought there is a chance Christina could still be alive. That someone could have her and be keeping her doped up and incapacitated.

Just read the picture of her on the missing poster with the black hat is the outfit she had on that night.
