True. Chances are it could be someone known to her. Still....how many random abduction cases do we see here on WS? A ton! Late night, parking garage, young petite girl alone, bunch of pervs out there...

I'm starting to think it might be someone random. What if she walked up to something she wasn't supposed to see, like someone TRYING to break into a car in a garage and that person panicked and took Christina?? Just thinking of other random things that could have happened

As Cluciano and I have mentioned in past cases, not all police are necessarily experienced missing persons investigators. jmo

PLEASE move on from the discussion of illegal aliens. Please get back to the case at hand.

Here's a song break for anyone who needs it, lol.

:seeya: Hiya margarita25! I think random abduction is a good possibility here! You are not alone my friend! My hinky meter immediately swung over to Random Abduction! One minute you're here and the next minute you're not. :notgood: :ufo:

Hi there Bootsctr!

("Out in the country past the city limits sign
Well there's a honky tonk near the county line
The joint starts jumpin everynight when the sun goes down
They got whiskey women music & smoke
It's where all the country folk go to boot scootin' boogie..."

It seems so odd with the excessive phone use of the "digital native" generation and the abundance of "selfies" flooding social media that there weren't more photos of their evening... I wonder if there were other groups of friends, unrelated to CM and company, who did take pictures throughout the night and have her in the background? (Doesn't it creep you out to think of how many strangers' photos YOU might be in the background of??)

I, vaguely, remember that Vi said some guys were trying to talk to her and CM at the bar. Did she say that or am I confused?

  • #1,327
We don't know that anyone from the party is holding anything back or refusing to talk to police. At least, unlike Lauren Spierer's "friends" we have not heard of of a bunch of them hiring lawyers right away. Jmo

CM was a photographer .... Her Cannon Camera is missing as well. Perhaps she took Pics with the cannon

I rest my case!

Oh brother. We moved on.

Vi did say that there were a couple guys at the bar she and CM didn't care for. Yes.

Good point. There could be valuable photos on that.

Not being in the US 'tis difficult for me to identify vehicles. They all have different names in my part of the world. Would y'all consider a Chevvie Camaro a unique vehicle?
edit: sorry a 'distinct' vehicle.

Snipped

I want to say around 11:30 or 12, we saw each other near the bar near the patio. We were catching up a bit when two guys approached us. One talked to me and the other to her. The one talking to me said, "I see you're not holding a drink!" I replied, "It's over there on the table." I can't remember what else he said, but I didn't want them talking to us so I told him my boyfriend was right behind him (he really was). The guy was a smart 🤬🤬🤬 and said, "Oh, do you want me to meet him?" This whole time, I didn't hear anything the other guy said to Christina. After his smart 🤬🤬🤬 remark, the conversation went flat and Christina said, "I'm going back to my friends." I gave her a huge hug and whispered in her ear, "Those guys are so annoying!" And she said, "I know!" We parted ways and said our goodbyes.

Glad to report that I am not completely nuts. I did read that post by Vi.
So...who was this guy who tried to pick her up at the bar?

lol...

Is there ANYONE on this board who thinks a random abduction is a possibility here? It seems I'm the only one. Wondering if my hinky meter is broken, lol.
I think this is a good possibility. I'm not ruling anything out at this point.

Not your average Honda Accord...i guess.

I think the guy's car was described as "distinctive" someplace...maybe by LE? I am thinking maybe in the grill/headlights as many newer cars have fancy lighting in the front when all of the lights are on...just a guess.

No. It was Vi who said that about his car.
