Does the majority feel Christina ended up in his trunk while IN the garage? Because I'm not sure I believe that. I think Christina took a ride with him, hence the reason his seat belt was removed from the vehicle per EA. I would imagine the DNA in the trunk is bodily fluids/blood from whatever happened to her from where she was killed, to where he left her body. Just my floating theory at this point, until I hear or see more from investigators to change my mind.

2Hope4, in the arrest warrant on page 4, par. 3, it states "video footage also indicated both vehicles were parked within close proximity of each other". This leads me to believe that LE had some type of view of both EA and CM's cars. If she had been put in his trunk in the garage, I think LE would have seen that on the video footage and EA would have been arrested in September. I agree with you that she must have left in the passenger seat.

If the Collin County Court Records website is correct, then PP, SB, and SN have not been served their subpoenas so most likely will not be testifying at the hearing this morning.
The two PPD detectives have been served and have returned their subpoenas.

Brittany Feagans will be at the hearing (per one of her tweets) so keep an eye on her Twitter after the hearing. She says no cell phones allowed in court room, though.

Says EA is arguing bond today. Lame small article but here you go

Linked up for you

IF the bond does get reduced and IF he can afford it, can the judge put him on house arrest and does anyone think he would?

I can't imagine it would be very safe for EA to go out in public if he is released. I thought I read that before he was arrested he hadn't been leaving his house much anyway.

Regardless, IF he does go home, I can only imagine how awkward it might be between him and his family. It's not like you can pretend that nothing has happened and go back to normal.

ETA: more specifically, can a judge put someone on house arrest for their own safety?

A judge can decide whatever they deem right in terms or safety of public and if he's a flight risk. I Have my doubts they will reduce his bond but we shall see

The article also states that EA was "lying about... who he contacted after the disappearance."
Hmmm.....

I thought this a short while back and I think I didn't get round to posting it.

I think that in the uncut interview EA says he contacted Christina's mother (I don't he says whether he means Jonni or Anna) and in an old article that I recently re-read Anna says that she contacted him.

I'm not able to search back at the moment so I'll say that this is to the best of my recollection and will post when I find them

eta: I've found the article where EA's mother says that Anna contacted them in the first instance

This article says they found DNA from bodily fluid and hair was found in his car. This is the first time I have heard about hair.

Good catch, I posted the link before reading the article, you are right, we haven't been told about the hair before.

If that was in the trunk it would go a long way to eliminate the possibility that the DNA got in there by Christina vomiting or some of the other possible reasons that have been suggested

Here's to getting no work done until (at least) after the hearing is over and we get media reports on it. Pins and needles, y'all!

On page 8 of the Arrest Warrant is states "Cellular phone records for both Christina Morris and Enrique Gutierrez Arochi were obtained from Sprint by Detective Rich."

Based on that statement, I would assume that they are both Sprint customers, although I'm not sure if that will help us to better understand why their cell phones pinged at different times.

Maybe it's simply because one is an iPhone & the other a Galaxy..?

Why would the type of cell phone matter? It's the cell carrier that matters when it comes to pings, isn't it? Think about all those cell carrier commercials that show coverage maps and how much of the nation they cover. Those commercials are showing how much coverage that carrier has based on cell towers, not the type of phone one owns.

In my mind, if they were both Sprint customers, then their phones should have pinged at the same time, unless CM's phone went dead.

...and that is why I put a "?" at the end of my statement.. because I have no idea... I am "technically challenged"..:D

Let me say that I'm no expert either but might it be the case that different phones are programmed to send out pings at different intervals so although they are pinging via the same carrier they might do it at different times?

Forgive my ignorance, but if prosecutors were to decide to go ahead with a murder charge, this is not something we'd hear about today? This would occur later and separately? Just curious and am not familiar with these types of legal proceedings.

No problem. I'm just trying to figure out the time difference. That has bothered me since it was released. Who knows, maybe her phone ran out of juice, maybe LE only released partial information.

Is the hearing at the plano courthouse? Just drove by on way to work and it's pretty tame looking there.

It's in McKinney, I believe. At the 380th district court
