There are public searches every Saturday morning, I've been to several, and I can tell you there are other searches throughout the week. Jonni didn't move back to TX to sit on her butt.

I disagree that raising the reward would be of much help, as it is already 25K and EA is in jail.

I'm not sure which phones they could man considering it's been ~6 months and I doubt the leads are flowing in at this point. Besides, Crimestoppers and LE get paid to do that.

The thing about the jail protests is that people that walk into the jail during visitation hours see it and they go tell the inmate they are visiting. The word spreads about what a lying coward EA is and other inmates start applying pressure on him from the inside. If he's not gonna man up & talk, they're gonna at least make his life hell.

They are not chanting. From what I saw on Jonnis FB, they got permission for the protests, but we're told they must be silent protests.

BBM - I would imagine some of the other inmates are lying cowards also to someone else's family so I don't see other inmates applying pressure on EA. They have their own set of problems IMO. This isn't a group of upstanding citizens that EA is thrown into the mix with. JMO

This is an unusual way to go about finding a missing person. People liken it to what happened in Caylee's case and it is a troubling comparison. The drama and ridiculous display did nothing to find Caylee.

I haven't heard of that many searches for Christina, but maybe you are right. People don't stop searching after 6 months. People don't stop searching after a year. In Lindsey Baum's case, people are still going out searching as a group 5 years later.

Perhaps people could hold a drive to raise the reward for information and the physically limited could man the phones or they could use the time to come up with fresh ideas on where to search next. There are many things they could do to help bring her home while others are out searching again and again and again.

I still do not see the point of standing in front of his parents' house holding signs (and they did chant before, IIRC). At least at the jail where EA is located brings some attention to them, but does EA know or even care?

In total agreement. I shudder at the thought of the Arochis acting like George and Cindy did. Then it really becomes a spectacle. IMO

The jail visitation hours are when they meet there, I believe on Tues, Thurs and Sat from 7-8pm, the meet up time is 6:30pm.

I've not seen a meet up at EA house posted that was earlier than 5:30-6pm. It's still daylight at that time here in case anyone is interested.

I won't pretend to know if the search teams are searching places more than once, but if history and experience indicated that is needed, I can only believe the same areas are being double and triple checked.

Not so sure about that!

If they feel they have their man...
why the secret searches?

You may be right, but from what I've heard, EA isn't too popular there. Don't forget there are also inmates that get released and come talk to the family when they see the signs.

Because Tim Miller with Equusearch advises that search locations be kept confidential. Simple as that.

In My Opinion ( Personal and Professional ), family should never be the ones leading the searches or out there searching. Do any of you want your last memory or picture of your loved one to be a decomposed body, bones scattered by animals, mutilated corpse? You can say all you want that , that won't be what you think of, but trust me you do. No matter what your mind goes to the suffering your loved one went through and that image will always come up. Most people never make it back from that. Their lives are forever devastated and their nights when they do sleep is filled with nightmares. There are other things family members can do instead of being on the searches. Once again this is my opinion, personal and professional. I felt like this needed to be said, so don't snark me, be rude, bash or whatever. On this I do know what I talk about. My concern is the well being of the loved ones.

Peace, love , blessing Ciao, Merry part ;)

Balor I believe that Texas Equusearch also recommends that Family does not search. IIRC, that was on the Discovery ID show. Must be a very helpless feeling.... I can't imagine.

After following the Vanderbilt rape trial and watching Brandon Vandenburg's parents, I've come to believe that there are some parents who are incapable of believing they're children have commited horrible acts in spite of evidence to the contrary. I suspect that the Arochi family may be one of those. Yet, they too are victims of their sons alleged acts as well. I'm having trouble with the protests at home and feel it will turn on the Morris family. I think this goes on much longer and they could look like bullies. JMO. Sometimes I ask myself why I still follow this thread as I am put off by the hostility and snark. I, like everyone here wants CM found and brought home.

I saw that, I am very glad that they do that. It's just too much for loved ones minds to deal with. I know families want to help, be involved, but that way is not the way to do it. The effects are forever.

No offense meant to you, but I hate that this slogan has been chosen for Christina, because it's lyrics to a song Miley Cyrus did that is about using Molly and partying. I'm sure the people who started using it have no idea or they wouldn't have used it!
People have said "Can't stop. Won't stop." for years. I'm a bit of a gym rat and it's a long standing slogan in the industry. Its not Christina's team's fault that Miley just isn't as original as she thinks she is. :)

What time does it get dark in TX, I thought the jail protests were taking place in the evening when there wouldn't be enough light to search.

The videos I've seen have been of silent protests, there may be some with shouting but I've watched multiple ones and I haven't seen any.

I'm not convinced about the amount of the reward, is it likely that if somoeone knows something they are keeping quiet because $25k isn't enough? IMO if there is such a person they are keeping quiet because they are scared to speak out or they have some kind of loyalty to EA and I don't think either of those things have a price tag.

I have no experience of jail at all but from what I read those suspected of crimes against children and young women may well be reviled by others and I can absolutely see EA getting a very hard time from his fellow inmates, IMO kidnapping a defenceless young woman is hardly going to make him someone to be looked up to or respected, I wouldn't be surprised if he was being kept away from the other prisoners for his own safety.

JMO
Regarding rewards, IMO 25k to clear your conscience and help a mother have closure is a great deal. I think rewards of any amount are very persuasive so possibly fear is the factor If someone knows something and isn't saying. Although I do know rewards are given very privately and protect the informant so much so that the public wouldn't even know that someone received it. Or maybe everyone that knows (if there is anyone) cares about themselves and EA too much to talk.

I have followed many other cases where Tim Miller was involved and they said where they were searching.
Why is this one so different?

Has he been back since his RC "drones" went up in September? JMO - allowing the images he gathered to be crowd-sourced would be advisable. I believe there are sufficient numbers of TeamChristina members from outside the area who would love to assist in a project such as this.

I agree with Eileen. If the perp is in jail, why is there any need to continue keeping the searched areas a secret now? Is there any legitimate reason for Tim Miller to insist on all of this secrecy?

While searching (on Google) for info on this case last night, I ran across the 1st WS thread for this case. Apparently, Jonni sent HF to distribute fliers near a casino in Oklahoma? That struck me as pretty odd, especially now that she has moved from OK to Plano.

Well this thread has hit the WALL!
Hope she is found and the person responsible is held accountable!

JMO - more likely to come up with fake jailhouse "confessions."

It has been said more than once that this case revolves around drugs.

It sounds like they care deeply for HF. His life, too, has been forever altered by drug abuse.

Whether CM succumbed to a drug overdose or not, I think CM's family can do much more good for her and others like her by campaigning against the use of rave drugs and emphasizing group safety, including keeping tabs on whether other members of your party make it home safely. I still have problems with no one noticing she had vanished for 4 days.

Four days is a long time in our interconnected society, especially with people of that age group. Way too long when the same person was observed upset and crying all day before disappearing.
