Now I'm really curious if EA left town on or after Saturday.
He could have driven to Mexico for all we know.
Especially if it is true his parents were out of town already.
No one around to see him coming or going.

I am curious also about the days that followed. But don't forget his brother Carlos was his alibi that he went straight home that night.

But do we know FOR SURE that CA vouched for him or is that what EA says?

I am sorry you had that experience, WBG. My own experience with the police indicates that they hardly exude empathy. I hope that they assign the young woman and her family a victim advocate and that that person acts as more than just a minder, if you know what I mean.

Thank you daisytrail.
When one thinks about it, especially in previous decades, there weren't too many places to turn to get support. I mean, I don't think it was encouraged to complain publicly.
You just brushed yourself off and moved on.

A person can be unlucky many times over but then realize how lucky you really are (because some event didn't end tragically beyond repair).
Whatever is left in between won't let you forget though.
Now, thirty-five years later I'd like go back and give those two policemen a piece of my mind. I'm sorry to say, I doubt much has changed though.

For sure you are right only said that because she stated no one around to see him coming or going...His story remains a mystery for now to us...I'm sure le knows the truth

We keep forgetting though that he had three or four days.
Who can prove her body was disposed of by 11 a.m. Saturday morning?

He may have been late to work just trying to find out where to hide her if she died at his house.
Then, since he was so trashed from the night out and possibly doing more drugs, he may have been late to work because of those two reasons. Maybe he hadn't figured out what to do about Christina yet.
Rather than call in sick, he thought it would look better if he at least showed up for work.

How come the idea he disposed of the body before he went to work is the only option possible? He may have ventured out Saturday night to accomplish hiding her.
We haven't heard anything about what EA did from after work on Saturday until the day CM was reported missing.

Actually, for that matter, we don't even know if she was dead by then.

What about the next night? After EA got off work on Saturday or even Sunday.
It seems a little off that Carlos returned home to visit his empty house (if his parents were out of town).
Wouldn't most of his friends be at school?

Even so, if CA was at home all weekend, CA probably had his own agenda around Allen and wouldn't be monitoring his brother on Saturday night or even Sunday.
Now, if something took place in the home, it would be difficult to explain why CA didn't notice anything strange going on there. Unless he took off early in the day and didn't return or was just in and out.

I often wonder if he moved her...i still hold out hope for a happy ending but logically in the texas heat she would decompose rapidly and he had plenty of time before he was arrested to panic over the searches getting close.

Yes, the thought has crossed my mind as well.
No one really has considered the possibility.
Would Christina hang out with EA for any length of time though?
I mean, much beyond a possible drug linkup.
Plus her phone stopped for good before quarter to five in the morning (don't recall exact time). If it wasn't for that, there'd be no reason to believe she wasn't well into the next day.
She did leave her car and her dog was at home though.

I just convinced myself something happened to CM prior to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday.
At least something happened to her phone at that time.

Gosh, I'm sorry both of you have had bad experiences. When I first moved to DFW I had to call 911 and they were actually very kind to me; for all of the locals I apologize for wasting anyone's tax dollars on that evening. Long story short, my then roommate was out of town, I locked the front door and my bedroom door out of an abundance of caution, I woke up @ 2:00 a.m. to what sounded like someone being in my home, I called 9-1-1, and as the police were searching the place (like it was their own home) I sat on the couch, watching my roommate's cat trying to get my cat to play and I realized.....oh....I see what happened here. I told the officers that I was sorry but it appeared as though my roommate's cat was the culprit of the attempted B&E (pawing under the door making it wiggle in the door frame) and they were all "don't need to apologize, we would much rather come out and there was no reason for your call than to have a situation where you should have called us."

Also, where we live now, one of our old neighbors was schizophrenic and like clockwork, the cops would show up at least once, sometimes even twice a month because she would swear someone was peeping through her bedroom window. The cops were always really nice about it; if me or my husband or the kids are outside, they'll sheepishly smile and ask if we've seen anyone suspicious.

No, it certainly wasn't his only option. I just keep going back to the fact that he didn't know how long he had.. My thought is that he got rid of CM & her belongings ASAP... And then he probably spent the next few days looking over his shoulder & out his window. He had to know that LE was gonna come knocking at any time.. JMO!

My last post tonight!
Yes, but LE believes (for some unknown reason) EA returned to his home with Christina in his trunk. Why would he even do that if something happened to her prior to 5:00 a.m.
So far, LE insists she was in his trunk when he exited the garage.
Yet he drives awhile then returns to the Shops at Legacy area once again.
Here's where and why I can't lose the idea he met up with somebody where ever he was near the Shops during those final phone pings.

Interesting.. I had googled this topic & found it to be about 50/50 why you should/shouldn't dispose of a body that way.. who knows? I would link it, but if anyone is interested, they can look it up themselves... Some articles confirmed my thought, that you need about 1500° to completely dispose of it. Other articles didn't say that, but did state that there would still be bone fragments, teeth, etc leftover.. Some of the info basically said it is just "too much trouble" for a murderer to do that, because they are in a hurry & confused.. As you said... "Go figure"...

ETA: If Le ever checked my computer from the last few months, I'd probably be in deep trouble for the things I've "Googled" (pertaining to this case, of course) :scared::notgood:

When I read the first part of your post my first thought was "I hope LE never checks your history". I think we'd all be in the same boat. Thanks for the laugh!

Or came back to drop someone else off?

The GJ will probably not meet tomorrow due to our inclement weather! Sleet & snow tonight...

I hope the GJ members are able to travel safely, I don't like to think of poor Jonni and family if it has to be delayed :(

Here's a link to an article about the sexual assault charges.
I never saw this exact article and was wondering where the additional details to the story were coming from.
There's only a single page Affidavit, correct?

This was a very good article!
And they say Girlfriend!

I do believe there is going to be some heated discussion or protests about this.

They went to her Mother!

Mom did not go to them!
answered my question.

Does anyone know if the courthouse is open today for the grand jury hearing? I know you are having weather issues.

o/t ~ Not to start a LE bashing session but, the other day, a young man in my neighborhood was driving home from work just before 9PM. He was on a peripheral side street when he noticed a cop car tailing him. He slowed down even more (he wasn't speeding) and the cop pulled him over at that time. He rolled down the window and asked the cop why are you following me so closely? Cop asked him, "Do you have anything illegal in your car?" wth?
He said, "No" (and he didn't). He noticed and mentioned to the cop whose car identified him as being from the unincorporated area nearby, that he wasn't in his jurisdiction so why was he tailing him in the first place?
The cop replied, "Good thing you know your laws, kid". wtwtwt hell?

Why was he tailing him? Weird.

Respectfully, we’re only hearing one side of the story here; that of the young man who was pulled over. Perhaps his car matched the description of a vehicle involved in a crime in the area, or maybe his just happened to be the only vehicle on the road in an area where a crime had just been reported. His description of the officer “tailing” him might just be his own perception of a police car driving behind him. Clearly there are “good cops” and “bad cops”, but I tend to think that the majority of them are trying their best to do a good job and truly have the best interest of the community at heart. I believe that is why PPD notified APD of the possible “sexual assault of a child” that they discovered while investigating EA for the AK of CM. I am sorry to hear of others’ bad experiences with police in the past, and I understand how that may shape perceptions. One bad cop makes the job harder for all of the good ones. JMO
