Not sure if this has already been posted as I haven't read here in a while. But a skull was found in a creek today in Plano which is only about 5 miles from the Shops at Legacy Park where Christina Morris was last seen and it's along a route toward Enrique Arochi's home in Allen as well.

Shops at Legacy Park address is 5741 Legacy Dr Plano - near where Christina was last seen

Jack Carter Park is located at 2601 Pleasant Valley Dr Plano, TX - area where skull & other bones found in a creek

Arochi's parents home address was 1218 Harvard Ln Allen

here's a map of the 3 locations - the middle location is where the skull was found

This one has a feeling that other discovered remains haven't, I hope for her family's sake she's been found but it'll still be very sad if it is her.

For it to make news, there must be a strong suspicion that it's a human skull. There is a bike trail just north of the intersection, but the area itself isn't very remote. I hope that it's Christina...This is the 'most likely' found remains so far, IMO. But, I would be blown away because I would have thought that the greenbelts this close would have been searched thoroughly.

here's another map that shows the location of the bones in proximity to Custer Rd

IMO this area where a skull & bones were located fits right in with the time-frame also of Arochi heading north on the 121 tollway near Custer at approx 4:08am when he headed to the Kroger lot and home.

Actually, this location fits into Arochi's return trip to the Shops area & then home again. He originally left the garage & took 121. He went through the (121/Custer) toll @ 4:08. He then returned to the SAL area & could have taken Legacy/Spring Creek home. When he was originally questioned, I believe he said he went home via Legacy (until LE saw his toll receipt).

ETA: The area in question is surrounded by homes. It seems amazing that skeletal remains were found..

Here is the timeline:

4:08 a.m. Arochi’s Camaro passed through Custer Road gantry northbound on S.H. 121.

4:47 a.m. Morris’ phone pings cell tower at 5800 Granite Parkway (north of Shops at Legacy)

4:56 a.m. Arochi’s phone pings cell tower at 5800 Granite Parkway (north of Shops at Legacy)

5:32 a.m. Arochi’s phone pings cell tower in 1500 block of Bethany Drive near his home.

6:21 a.m. Sun rises.

Plus, it was Labor Day weekend and Plano has a big soccer tournament that uses just about every field in the city. So, there were likely teams arriving at 7:00 for their 8:00 matches. Jack Carter pool was probably busy that weekend, along with the dog park and bike trail, as well.

If EA hid Christina there, he was VERY lucky, there were probably hundreds of people at that park over the weekend.

It appears very possible but there are still some ladies missing in area not found too that are more recent like Marisol Espinosa from Dec 29.

This.

The area isn't very remote, to be a place EA might have driven to, to hide her.

Also, not sure where EXACTLY on the greenbelt this skull was found, but from a google map, it doesn't look like it's a very thick greenbelt in most areas. So it would seem logical that a place like this would have been searched, and since the greenbelt is generally in residential areas, it's hard to imagine that she could have been hidden there for almost 1 1/2 years without being stumbled on by kids playing, someone out for a walk, and so on.

OTOH - some things really line up.

As a place for him to have gotten to, it's incredibly convenient, right in the very area where all this took place (he drove up and down Legacy multiple times that night, and this is within a mile of that drive down Legacy).

In addition, the reality is that this was indeed a skull found. It had apparently been dead for quite some time (as they were having questions as to whether it was human or not). So if it's someone's skull, no reason to think that the "someone" couldn't have been CM. And clearly those doing the followup are thinking the same thing.

Excellent information. Thanks.

This location kinda messes with my thinking. If the hiding was here, it was logically before sunrise, which is certainly doable given the close proximity. But in that case, EA really had nothing to keep him from being at work on time that Saturday morning. Was he just that much of an idiot, where he obviously was going to need an alibi for that morning, yet simply didn't go to work to create one? Seems stupid.

But this is all cart-before-horse stuff. Better wait and see if this is CM, and if there's a need to rethink things, before reassessing.

Thanks for posting that reminder of known events.

But one caution. As I recall, in our prior discussions we learned the sunrise that day was at 7 am almost exactly, and it was unclear why the reporter said otherwise. (It should be easy enough to look up and verify sunrise time in McKinney TX that day.) Obviously, if we have to assume he's hiding her before sunrise, the exact time of that event makes a difference in our thinking.

Has anyone traced the creek and flow of creek?

Has anyone traced the creek and flow of creek?

That creek/watershed was apparently designed to take "waterflow" (when it has water) as follows:

  • it appears to begin about 2 mis E of the Shops
  • if you start at that end and go with the flow, it's about 2 miles SE with the flow to the skull location, and
  • go another approx 20 miles SE with the flow from there, and that runoff water (in theory) eventually drains into the N end of Lake Ray Hubbard, which is E/NE of Dallas.

Don't know if there's any more than a dry grassy gulch or a trickle of water in this "creek" at most times but it would certainly carry runoff in heavy rains, of which there have been several monsoon times since CM was taken.

Hope that helps.

just another article - search of the area to resume tomorrow morning

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Plano-Police-Investigate-Skull-Bone-Found-in-Creek-367453921.html

Police have closed off the area and are now treating it as a possible crime scene.

We've speculated that EA's recent damage to his car had to do with hiding Christina some place like maybe down a dirt road in a wooded area in the dark. I wonder how this location fits that theory.

Then again, I've always suspected that he was scared that the sun would be up shortly and he would feel a need to hide her fast. That would also mean he didn't have time to explore - he needed a place he knew about where he get to with a minimal amount of driving. This would fit that scenario.
