Both of their phones pinged 9 minutes apart at 5800 Granite Pkwy. This area looks like it might have multiple dumpsters as well as a small pond.

However, I don't believe that 50-minute gap is where crime and disposal happens. I think he took her to his house during his 5-hour gap and this is where crime happened. The station he got gas at is northeast of his home, I believe if I remember correctly. It is not on his route from home to work. His work was close to Lake Lavon I think.

Has there been any mention of cameras in the courtroom? Texas has allowed a few trials to be streamed this past year or so but I haven't seen if any of the media there have requested it.

I haven't seen any decision.

For convenience in seeing the trial itself, I'd prefer it be televised. I would like to personally observe the testimony and arguments, but the courtroom isn't very accessible geographically to me.

But I still would much prefer the judge says no to cameras, in the interests of justice. Those cameras put a joker in the deck of justice, and can make this trial become a play with spectators rather than a quest for justice, and lead to some weird decisions and outcome as judge, witnesses, and attorneys intentionally or unintentionally play to the camera. And I shudder to think of this predator out on the streets again, because I have sisters, nieces, and female cousins and friends. It would certainly be interesting to me personally to see the trial unfold on TV, but of more importance is making sure this predator ends up behind bars forever, to protect other young women in our state from the kind of things that befell CM.

Is a Camaro trunk lid that small? Christina = tiny. So folded up? "spacial relationship". I realize the prosecution really wants the jury to physically see the car, but what are they implying about a small woman? The trunk opening is too small even for a small woman?

Thanks for your observations. Respectfully, I disagree however. Yes in theory, everyone's focus would always be on the case and jury, I certainly agree with that. But when you have a camera, sometimes not so much - it's like rolling the dice as to how people will respond.

I certainly don't think all attorneys will be the same with cameras. I know attorneys, and there are way too many who would play it up a bit (or a lot) with the added attention from TV, figuring they can kill two birds - the jury's opinion, and their reputation for the future - with one stone here. That alone can alter everything. But on top of that, witnesses can be affected by being on camera in front of the world, and so can a judge (trying to make a name for himself), and it might even somewhat alter the jury mindset as well with the knowledge that this is a televised event.

But all in all, to me this decision is about a bird in the hand, so to speak. I really don't want dice rolls added here, because I think this is a fairly predictable outcome without something bizarre to change the landscape. Adding unknowns can change the equation. Just give me an ordinary trial with the usual, sometimes challenging-as-is dynamics, fight the battle to prove that EA put her IN HIS TRUNK from which she has never been seen or heard from again, and imo that's more than enough for the prosecution to have to deal with to get this predator locked away for good.
