And here's another thing, I've never heard of Whataburger!!!

So, what is the best month to visit Texas and what cities are must sees? (I've only driven through the panhandle and kick myself for skipping a trip to San Antonio long ago.)

In n out is much better IMO. Fall is best (oct or nov) or spring (April) otherwise it's really hot or pretty cold. (But I'm from California so I'm a wuss) San Antonio is cool just to see the riverwalk. Not much else to see! Dallas is cool also. I love austin personally.

I agree. I live in Dallas, but Austin is by far my fav. I'd move there tomorrow.

Thank you for putting this post together but I know all these details! Some of my questions stem from new questions being introduced on the threads (maybe by people who haven't read back far enough) thus causing me to have new questions because people thank the questions that have no msm backing (that I've seen) so then I no longer know what I think I knew and I begin asking to see cute kitties and lose all focus.

I'm reading every post but can't put the story together or figure out why some people are so sure they're sure they know what they know based on what I think I knew/know (which, obviously, is nothing).

If Christina wasn't on the south of Legacy, she wasn't at the apartment, right? (which is the one thing we thought we did know that she had been at a gathering in a friend's apartment)

Is there a confusion game going on here or is it just me?

Was walking man ever with the other friends in the apartment?

There is lots of confusion and theory's ... it is over 3 weeks and the end result is Christina has not been found and we have not a crime scene anywhere.

Well, you're wrong about her bf. Just so you know. He didn't do anything to that girl. EA likes the casino in OK. Since he was the last person to be seen with her, the logical thing to do was go to the casino and pass out flyers and hang posters.

Wait-- there's a Whataburger on Coit just south of Legacy... I think Jack in the Boxes are open 24 hours, too. Wracking my brain for other options. I like the avenue you're pursuing-- reminds me of the Walmart footage and (gosh am I remembering this correctly?) McDonald's drive through footage of Dylan Redwine in establishing the chronology of his case, RIP.

What do we really have here factually and information based on reports???

We have a Suspicious Disappearance of a 23yr old female that was not reported until 11:17pm 9-2-14
We have a locked 2001 Toyota Celica with no crime scene
We have the phone's last known location and that was in the Shops at Legacy..Time and Day of the Phone's Last Location -Unknown

How does JE know about the text and its content? Also there's the problem of proving Christina was with her phone at that time.
Whatever the case is, don't we know the location of Christina's phone based on time of the last text or hasn't that detail been verified by LE?

LE hasn't stated a time but I believe they said CM's phone quit (for whatever reason) just after she was seen near (she looks to be inside to me) the garage. The mom releasing information is problematic to the case in the long run. btw, do we know what phone CM carried and how mom discovered the final text info. Did BF cough the info up? Then wouldn't his text (sender) need to be verified? Did LE give mom info after examining bf's phone? If they did, it'll be the last time they share I bet.

IMO...they checked the wrong phone. A certain someone's phone needs to be checked. Maybe car GPS/Onstar tracking system. I am sure LE knows better than me how to conduct an investigation.

The Phone in question is a i-phone with a green case -per initial BOLO
Mom revealed the last text info on the 18th
Again .. phones last location was "IN THE SHOPS" not garage,not apartment,not donut shop, time and date is not given.

My sister is a reporter in the greater Boston area-- it drives her CRAZY when news outlets post breaking news with half-researched half-truths just so they can claim to be the first one to have it out there. (The last biggie I can remember her griping about was the marathon bombing, and before that, it was the school shooting in CT.)

She receives so much pressure from the public (and her station) to have the info out fast-fast-fast, but she is committed to accuracy and REALLY ticked off that the industry/industry-standard is not.

With that said, I think that many of the discrepancies that are frustrating us are coming from MSM with either a) shoddy ethics (to be first, to sensationalize) OR b) shoddy communication skills when it comes to precise language and connotation.

If we made a list of only the facts from PPD, how would it compare/contrast to other news outlets? If we made a list of facts ("facts") offered from other MSM outlets and compared and contrasted them against each other, how would they stack up?

As we work to extract data that might be relevant, I am becoming more and more frustrated at the media. Then again, I think the sources providing the info to the media aren't making it an easy job, either, and are probably unintentionally leaving gaps that the media is trying to fill...
