No. Sorry. And I didn't attend. I was working :(

I think I read they have the Public Safety meeting once a month or every 6 - 8 weeks. Trying to find where I read that information. Maybe someone else remembers that too.

I have a Louisville slugger if you want to borrow it. . . just saying that I'd be jumpier than a cricket hopping from the fly-swatter.

Thanks! :) I would look rather silly walking down Parkwood carrying a baseball bat! Haha. I'm hoping my big, very protective dog would be a deterrent but I actually carry a nice sized Pocketknife on morning / evening walks.. I'm not the most coordinated person, I'd end up pepper spraying myself!

The behavior of the Plano police leads me to believe they don't think it was a random abduction. Not releasing any additional surveillance videos, pulling back on the extra security. I'm guessing they have a very narrow list of suspects but they just don't have really any circumstantial evidence to issue warrants, and of course they don't have CM.

If I lived at the Shops of Legacy in Plano, I would try to attend the Personal Safety seminar tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Trinity I Room at the Marriott in Plano....

Being in the group isn't really anything special. If you request they will add you. People just keep saying to pray and talk about where they're posting flyers. If you say anything or ask about anything, someone will say to leave the investigation up to law enforcement and just pray. It's silly.

That sounds like a purtty good inde cation as to why!!!!!! there is no credible leads... they are shutting out any Q & A to have any talk...

We'll they're snotty about it too.

I'm guessing they're looking at people who join the group to see if anyone of interest joins and a closed group is easier to keep tabs on.

For those who are in the group and have thoughts on PP, check out what she just commented on the post In the group.

Don't cut yourself accidentally! About the Louisville slugger, that might not be legal so not a good idea. Maybe to keep in your apartment under your bed or in the closet. . .

I am not invited to any FB or SM stuff ...YEAH!!!!

Snotty ...... Hey I think that is my middle name :shame:

Is it me, or does it seem like LE everywhere is sharing less and less with MSM ?
Where I live, for the past few years, privacy issues have been the big buzz. We have very strong privacy legislation here in Canada that all industries, businesses, sectors public and private have to abide by.
It does seem that in the recent past the public was brought into the loop more in terms of what police are following, etc. Back when we read the paper, and watched evening news on TV it seemed like there was a lot more information shared, and a lot more updates. Or maybe there is just more crime...

To sum it up PP seems ready to be rid of anyone off the group who has questions about what happened.

I think that's right, cannot conceal it! Hubby has no clue! Usually he knows these things about weapons.

I think there is more crime and people want to keep certain aspects of their lives hidden. I think the young woman covering Christina's case is doing quite a good job - as much as she can.... considering IYKWIM.

I typed up a loooong post about the FB group and it went POOF!
It's a joke. These closed and secret groups for mp's are nonsense.
They pray, fundraise and blow smoke up..oh whatever.

That sucks.... that your long post went POOF! I hate when that happens. Maybe the Star will continue to cover the story. I thought the article was quite good yesterday and spoke of how nice Christina is and how loved she is by all of her friends.
