Yes and am aware payout is rare (I always thought before 7 years) for missing persons. I'm not familiar with business insurance plans though - like if one person falters for whatever reason.

Aside from focusing on potential insurance payout, having insurance might indicate the seriousness of the business - if that makes sense. If someone didn't want to tango anymore, how complicated would the business dealings become? How far along is the business and whose 'baby' is it (in their opinion)?
One of her friends made the comment that she even insured her clothes
Maybe the clothing line was part of what she was talking about for the business.

Awww Cindy ... I am so sorry you were betrayed by him... I can not take liars and cheaters..sorry it makes my skin itch!! They are like parasites.

I hear and understand your thoughts about this ... and agree with what you are saying .

:seeya: Seeing as Christina is no where to be found, I suppose BF becomes sole parent/owner although it was my understanding the business had not really taken off. Wonder if any of the parents had invested in the business to help them get it off the ground? I do see how this situation could get quite messy!! :twocents:

A shame since it seems she was doing much of the work to get the business up and running. What did HF do to help operate the business? Model the clothing while skateboarding. Good work if you can get it.

Oh interesting, I did not know that.
I'm wondering if walker advised cm to make those last two text messages....maybe she was telling him what was going on and how he wasn't answering her texts and he told her to text what she did and then advised her to turn off her phone... I really don't know....

Very possible he was acting as a "coach"

volcarm said "Also, it seems like a funny time to be texting the bf to tell him to leave the door open"

I agree if he is not answering phone or texts, why did she think he would received this message. Especially if he were asleep. Seems like CM would just wait until she arrived there and bang on the door. Maybe the murderer sent text.

Maybe whoever took Christina was on their way over to harm bf too!

On the key subject - being a stickler but it is bugging me that info keeps being embellished and assumed (by CM's mom too). The text read that CM lost her house key. Who specifies 'house' if they lost all of their keys?
It was her mom who jumped to the conclusion that it must mean Christina was missing her car key too since she sent a text that she lost her house key.

Anything is possible but, if a person specifies 'house' key, wouldn't you assume if they lost their car key too, they might mention how they intended to arrive home? I find inserting a missing "car" key into the equation a detail that may or may not be true. Let's not assume the missing car key is a fact.

I'm so sad and disappointed that here we are a month later and we don't know much more now than we did then.

I gotta say the comments about the "can't find the house key" bug me too. Not saying the mom is lying or trying to mislead anyone, but LE isn't saying ANYTHING. They are not confirming nor denying anything other than to say they have no evidence to support a crime having occurred. Grrrrrrr!

I have not ..each and every time possible I have refuted that it was a lost or missing car key.the text is clear 3:36 "I can't find the keys to house"
and I have also refuted the statement that CM "always wears her keys around her neck" that is just simply hogwash.

Keep up the good work!
You don't think I meant you, do you? Just mentioning the morphing of car key idea not being a fact. Reminding anyone who cares.

Gee whiz. I'm thinking maybe I'll take Plano off my list. And people think I'm sensitive.
Why does anyone care what I think anyway? Pay your warrants people!

LOL. They could be warrants for toll tag fees. They started issuing warrants for anyone that hadn't paid them. Some people don't seem to know they owe possibly because they had moved.

  • #778
Just out of curiosity ...
I know police found her car quickly locked and parked..

I wonder if anything was or had been removed since it had been sitting unattended for near 5 days??

To move it, wouldn't you need the keys? I suppose LE would be able to arrange that though. Well I guess her keys (if actually missing( could have been found, or her parents may have had a spare key. Oh, and I guess another option would be that her bf may have had another set of keys to her car.

OT/
If in fact these are for traffic tickets and many have traffic related issues..some may be bogus some may be legit.
most will show outstanding balances if they are being disputed with legal representation.
some will also be clerical error or error in identity as well.. there very could be a whole list of reasons they go unpaid.

That is very true especially if they switched out vehicles off and on.. I mean they shared everything right??
