Hate to start realizing this, but I am starting to think she went missing voluntarily. The break up with her boyfriend is actually the simplest and mostly likely explanation for her disappearance. It indicates a problem in her life, and the only reasonable explanation so far for why she'd go missing without any clues.

We should keep all possibilities open. I wish I could find where I read that Christina said she was hiding from her crazy boyfriend. Does anyone remember this, or am I going nuts? It would fit a reason for voluntary missing. As I said upthread, this case leaves me nothing but confused and frustrated there is no movement...

Well I had made an observation early this morning and I am not sure if it is because at this point I am trying to be objective and take the emotions out of it..

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Search-Efforts-Continue-for-Missing-Fort-Worth-Woman-274404321.html

Steven Nickerson was with Morris before she went missing and said she seemed a little upset that

night, but he didn't know what was wrong. He said she insisted on driving back home to Fort

Worth
, but he never realized it would be the last time he saw her before she was reported

missing.

My observation is ... he is the 1 person that knew she was insisting on driving back home to Ft Worth ...when every one else thought she was going to stay over.. he knew she would be having to go back to her car in order to make that drive ..as she told him her plan.
I have not heard anyone else stating this directly that was there with her that night.
If they have ..I missed it somewhere.

You're right and bring up an interesting point. Also, why would Christina need to "insist" to Nickerson that she go home to Fort Worth? Was he "insisting" she do something else? Could just be that he didn't think she should leave and drive home at that hour but could it be something more?

It was a fb posting on the Behind Bars fb page. That is a closed fb group for bartenders people in the service industry.
Could just be rumor, so who knows?

Of course no one is going to like the idea of a person doing this to their whole community and leaving everybody with no answers. Hundreds of strangers have volunteered their time and efforts to searches and trying to find her. And maybe she feels bad about doing that to everyone, but that's not to say that would keep her from doing it. In one of the interviews, her mom described her as "a little spitfire" or "feisty" or something like that. She may have it in her to disappear anyway, knowing it would hurt a lot of people. But in the end, she may have felt that was what she wanted to do and that "no one can stop me!" attitude.

Maybe she knew someone that was a hippie-type, living off the grid, in a small society even that has helped her start a low-key life. If she is with a friend or friends that have those values, they are certainly not going to let anyone know where they are, who they are, or where she is either.

The way I look at it, all of her friends should have been "insisting" she do something else -- like stay there at the apartment and not take a one hour drive at 4 am after a night out. There seems like there was a lot of bf drama going on: "I'm arguing with him, I'm out with my gfs to cool off, I'm staying overnight here in Plano, I'm calling him and he won't answer, I'm leaving, I'm getting my dog, I cant find my house key..." If this were my friend I'd be like: Geez, enough already! Just stay here and drop it!
And I could see her insisting: No! I have to get home!
I thought Mom said her friends knew she was going home to get her dog. From the reports ALL of her friends knew she had changed her mind and was driving home to Fort Worth or else they would have reported that she left the apartment but they expected her to return to stay overnight. And if that's the case, geez then they really should have noticed she was missing earlier than 4 days afterwards!

My point being, he couldn't have been the only person knowing she was insisting on driving back to Ft worth.

So many possibilities... sure wish LE would throw us a little tidbit. Scary to think they don't have anything either. Hope & prayers that Christina is found!

Christina sounds like a responsible person, she is a college graduate, held down a steady job, was close to family, had lots of long term friends, etc. I wonder if the place where she lived, was in her name or both her and her bf names. Was she responsible for paying most of the bills, or did they split them?

This could be way off base, but I'm now wondering if one of the texts she sent her bf, was asking him to move out?

They rent that duplex and from what I can see on public record, he lived there for a while before she moved over there and moved in.

Thanks Cookie - I will lay that theory to rest!

Hey, at this point we are all left to ponder any possibilities... maybe LE will release another tidbit.

Huge breaks in two cases...Heather Graham and Beverly Carter.
Makes me so sad for Christina. She needs a break! Her family needs a break.

I, honestly, think we have gone over every possible scenario and theory. Yet, here we are. A month later with no progress in CM's case.

After thinking about her voluntarily disappearing, which is becoming more and more likely, I can't help but start to empathize with the 2 guys, her boyfriend and Walker Texas Stranger, that have been under such heavy scrutiny. I mean....can you imagine? Through no fault of theirs, they were 1. the closest to her and 2. the last one seen with her, and if she decided to disappear and not tell anyone...I mean what can they do in the middle of all the finger pointing? Everyone knows how bad it looks...they know how bad it looks too and they have to deal with everyone being suspicious of them and being on everyone's **** list. It's an incredibly selfish thing to do if she is hiding somehwere. I can understand how they really are victims of this unfortunate incident, and the police have stated that. When a person voluntarily disappears, everyone they left is a victim.

No way did this girl go voluntarily missing. I don't know who you are
GusRoo, but there are no signs she did anything to herself.

There are no signs that anyone ELSE did anything to her. If she decided to disappear, why would she leave any signs? Other than the big one which is: she is missing and there are no signs of foul play. That right there makes it highly unlikely that anyone did anything to her. So, what seems more likely: that someone else decided to make her disappear and is doing an incredible job of keeping everyone away from any clues? Or that she decided to make herself disappear because for whatever she was unhappy with her life? In many cases of voluntary missing persons, the family has no clue that they were unhappy at all and the missing person may have even put up a "happy" front for a long time.

Short of a rapture, I agree. We have nothing.

"Morris’ mother, Jonni McElroy of Tulsa, Okla., said she has put her job on hold until her daughter is found.

“My everyday life, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep at night, is searching for my daughter,” McElroy said.

Call me crazy, but I have a hard time sympathizing and/or empathizing with a guy who doesn't even bat an eyelash at the fact that his live in gf (whom he says in an interview means so much to him) has been a no show for FOUR days. Nope. I'm RSVPing as "No" to that pity party.
