It's so sad. So much time has gone by and nothing. Her parents and siblings must be devastated. It has to be horrible. I just keep wracking my brain to think of every possible scenario and keep coming up with dead ends because of the conflicting bits of info that we do have. I just wonder when her friends will decide that it just isn't worth it and will just drop the searching, you know just go on with their lives, like they have to really.

I mean after a long time passes, I would assume that they must move on -- I don't mean NOW of course, I still think it's too soon to give up. You can see how all of her friends still care so much, keeping the missing posters as their profile pics and all that. Of course we don't see her bf's fb because he doesn't have one, but all her close friends are obviously still putting her first. That's touching.

Poor Christina. Where are you????

I know ... I still say that everyone should seek grief counseling ... It is ok if they must be prescribed something to take the edge off...to be able to process everything and cope..the five stages of grief, is a series of emotional stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

If I was young and recently jilted by my bf
If I was humiliated by his cheating
If I felt like things I'd been working hard for were falling apart

I might try to disappear for a while...

But if
my plan started to spin out of control before I could notify my parents that I was safe

And if the police were involved
And there were missing posters,
And news coverage...

I'd be ten trillion times more overwhelmed.
And embarrassed.
And afraid.

Even if I wasn't a self-harm candidate before, I might start to feel like that was the only way it could end.

I wouldn't know how to return any other way.

Unless someone gave me an "out"

Said something in tbe media or on fb that could give me a cover story, like "We believe she may have amnesia, and our family is going to start privately searching her favorite childhood places [insert vague remote reference here, like campground at Texoma] in case she is wandering around trying to remember who she is." Etc, etc.

If
Someone handed me a pretext like that, I would be at that location and put on an oscar-winning performance of amnesia to make my re-entry.

And then my family would ask for respectful privacy while I "recovered" from the trauma...

Yikes. I don't know anything about the five stages of grief. I'm sure all her closest family and friends are still in the denial stage. and I hope they have reason to be. I hope she turns up, but it is looking pretty grim.

Like you, I hope the parents have hired a PI and that person is watching every move all those who had anything to do with her, past and present, are making. They all need to be under a microscope.

Well, gosh, can you blame him? You and your girlfriend have a disagreement and she leaves your house with plans to "cool off" with her old high school chums in a town an hour away, she calls you repeatedly and finally in your exhaustion you go to your bed, unaware that she is continuing to text because your dog gone phone is out of juice, then four days later you get a call that no one has heard a peep from her and you realize, holy ebola, Batman, neither have I!! Certainly that makes you look like a bit of a heel. It's a bad turn of events, really. I can imagine how he would be guilt ridden. No one would want to be in his shoes. I'm sure he is thinking back on every minute and how he could have done things differently...

Ponder this! Whatever mood I'm in, this post cracked me up. The story sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
It reminds me of times when I really wanted to believe my kid but knew in my heart, well . . .

Yes! It's so confusing. There is 3 different outfits she is said to be wearing when she went missing. Does anyone know exactly what she was wearing? I mean, I think the correct info needs to be put on the mp flyers.

:bump:

(sorry if this has already been addressed, catching up but wanted to bump in case I forget)

Yes, Christina was supposed to call one of her girlfriends when she made it home safely. She never received a call, but apparently the friend forget all about not getting the call from Christina because surely she would have tried to call her when she woke up and saw that Christina had not called her.

:bump:

This is likely not a voluntary disappearance---agreed everyone?

I think I may be on the fence now after reading some of the recent posts on this thread. I am just going to keep an open mind. JMO

Cat I started asking this same question about thread #4 ..and this is another reason a Stealth PI is needed ..get the clothing straight, timelines straight.all the stories just do not match

Yes you did - it just jumped out at me this morning, among other things. I agree completely about the stealth PI.

Right, this is what I don't get. They say he's cleared, but is that just because he said "I don't know where she went"? Did they search his car? Wouldn't him being the last person seen with her, verified by video, be enough to get a search warrant for his car at least? Did they search his house? If he has nothing to hide why wouldn't he say hey, check my car, check my house, take a look at my phone records? If they HAVE done all this, why haven't they told the general public that so we know it was a thorough investigation?

Exactly!
I think there is good reason his name has not been let out.
And wouldn't a dog hit on his car if she was ever in it?
I would think his car was thoroughly searched by LE. Sure hope so !

I agree. His name has not been released, or even, mentioned for a reason.
SN's name was. He gave a statement to MSM. HF's name was mentioned.
The ONLY one that was not mentioned is EA.
However, it also bothers me that NONE of the girlfriends that were with her that night have come forward. Right? Have any of them come out publicly? Not that I can recall.

As for dogs...there were no dogs brought in. AFAIK

Maybe there's a commune there. Or Dutch goat farm.
Sal never answered the question about Mountainview... Mountainview was just thrown out there then nothing! Haha... So random. If he/she answered, will someone tell me what's up with that?

Not only mentioned 1time but talked about on national news and Interviewed by local news -obviously struggling and mumbling in parts-not able to look into the camera and talk about the events leading up to her "being reported missing" 4 days later by him.

Here is that interview in case any one reading missed seeing that:

I thought he said Mountain View, CA to which I replied that according to CM she flies for free. Could be wrong - it happens :)

At this point since LE has not stated that the UN-identified man that is very last person seen with CM at 3:57am , I will have to safely assume that NO -Zero -Nada -Zilch intensive forensic search was ever done with him, vehicle, home, belongings, phones,sm etc...
After all he should have been the 1st person to thoroughly clear beyond a reasonable doubt ..and not only that ..but actually have probable cause IMHO.
