I've been following this case for the past month. Something about it just driving me crazy. Found this website and everyone here is doing an amazing job.

I,too, find it odd friends and family have remained so silent on the matter. The group (FB) is nearly silent. Hardly anyone even 'likes' a post anymore. I keep hoping this silence is because the cops are on the trail of someone, but my gut is telling me they don't have anything. I believe they have a POI, but until further information or evidence turns up, this case has gone cold.

I've heard much chatter about EA too. Hmmmm.

Someone earlier commented about checking the garage again. I think it's not a horrible idea. Remember the case where the woman was found in the walls?

I am leaning toward her knowing her abductor. The OD theory isn't a bad one either.

I've searched twice so far. Since then, I've been in contact with a few people to toss around ideas. I am going to search a few more times this week. I'll continue searching as much as possible. The biggest problem I have is where. I want my time to be put to good use. I'm an avid hunter and will go places some of the other searchers maybe wouldn't. I understand they want to keep quiet about places they have searched, however it seems nobody is looking. A few are, but that's it. I'm hoping someone will point me in the right direction. I will be headed out again tomorrow. Wish me luck. Prayers for her safe return, tho I think someone will end up finding remains.

If dead, the girl needs a funeral, and the parents closure.
And the who did this needs to be arrested.

Just wondering, for the people on the fence, or leaning towards a voluntary disappearance, what on earth would the motive be for this, I mean leaving her dog, her mom...

My personal opinion is there is no way she left voluntarily. I believe there is foul play here, 100%. jmo

I would like to know why though (specifically) that some might think this is a possibility. tia :wave:

I have several thoughts on why I'm on the fence. Just a rambling bunch of nonsense in my head where nothing quite connects.

I wonder if CM got into something over her head, either personal or business wise. She moved in with a guy for two months and during that time began seeing his best friend and then her and the new guy started living together. I understand she is young and impulsive, but I also see a rebel type side to her from some of her social media.

The story of going home to get her dog (even though I'm sure she loved her dog and worried about him) doesn't really make sense to me. She had already planned to stay all night and even if we consider that she couldn't get in touch with the BF, she supposedly knew earlier in the day that there were problems. She didn't just find out about the BF while she was out with friends. So why suddenly at 4:00 am did she decide to leave with apparently no house keys - not even knowing if BF was home and whether she could get in or not. I think the dog was an excuse - something the friends would not fight her on.

Additionally what was she going to do with the dog after she got her? She supposedly had to work, so where was the dog going to stay? Did she have plans to take the dog to work or back to her friend's apartment?

There are just too many mysterious things and players going on in order for me to not entertain the thought that she left willingly. The four days with no one reporting her gone gave her a huge head start if she did decide to do that.

Also the fact that TES left pretty quickly makes me wonder what they possibly found out.

Again, just my thoughts and I'm not even sold on the theory - just confused about so many details.

I don't think she took off. Of course could be wrong, but you'd think she would know everyone is searching and at the least feel she is in some sort of trouble. Or we would hear a rumor that she's safe and sound.

I think she did get in over her head.
Went for a ride with the wrong guy?
Drug related?
Her job at the dating place? (Lots of angry people. Losing thousands is a good motive).

I'm still under the impression she went with someone willingly. Have no evidence to support this tho. Just a feeling.
