My son just flew out of Dallas a few weeks ago - hope he did not pick up the germ. Folks, Stay safe and healthy in Texas.

Yup that is why I was asking.... from a legal perspective ..and I say this with compassion and respect in my heart..I would think since she has not lived there for now 30 days it is considered abandonment of cohabitation duty and property ..even though it is by unusual extenuating circumstances ...so by all means her family should with the permission of LE and having a power of attorney of be able to remove all her personal property.

So please if you know them ... I hope they are checking into this already or now.. If not ..then HF can just throw her stuff out on the curb.

I am very concerned about this issue.... I hope these questions get cleared up asap..

Back to whether her belongings are still at the rental house in Fort Worth:
In this video, her mom talks about going to the house and they say "Her mother made an emotional visit over the weekend." Then her mother says, "It was very hard. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life besides this search. And I felt her with me when I started touching her stuff. It was wrong that she was not with me to help me do that."

Does that mean she was moving her things out? That is almost what it sounds like to me.

Please let that be the case.. I hope they have got all of her things nice and safe. I really think that this can be a question that her family or friends may be able to answer

Can any one here confirm that is close to the parents and grandparents of CM if they have gone to move all of her things out of this house she shared with the "live-in boyfriend"?? Is her dog living with still with HF or been taken in by her own family??
Is HF being cooperative in letting them remove her property? OR has LE instructed them not to remove anything as this is "an ongoing investigation".

TIA

I only know the step mom has the dog.

Yes. This really does bring up a lot of questions.
1) If they removed her stuff, did police have to comb through it for evidence beforehand. They said they were looking into things that went into her past, as well, so you would think some of her belongings could give them clues if they think she may have encountered someone from her past.

2) If they removed her stuff, that would mean they are expecting that if she does return she would not be living with HF anymore, which seems odd because he was so distraught in his video interview, and mom even said he was just torn up about it (as any caring bf would be, of course)

3) Did police remove anything from the house before the parents went there?? You'd think there would be a lot of evidence about her habits, etc that could be helpful. Or computers and things like that which might give insight into her communications with people before her disappearance.

I wonder if the computer was hers to begin with ..I mean after leaving where she lived with the xbf and moved into the duplex??

I'm watching the PC now. You guys are screwed. Get out NOW. Before it's too late.
A plane full of people was exposed. This is insane.
I finally land the perfect job, get all comfortable, and now this.

I just keep going back the the BF interview ... I can not put my finger on something ... I guess it is his non verbal actions and his not making eye contact

That and his comment (at the very end of the video when they went back to him) about not being mentally stable... I mean, I'm sure if my live in significant other went missing without a trace I'd be a bit off too, but for some reason his wording struck me as odd.

Yes a lot is odd about it. I mean had they already been in a huge fight during the week already??? Were they already broken up before she went missing??

Good question. I'm sure she would have talked about it with her friends.
But then again maybe not. Maybe everyone thought it was all cool with them because if you were in a big fight and had just broken up with your bf and wanted to leave to drive and hour back home at 4am and said I'll call you when I get home, but you didn't, wouldn't your friends be more concerned??
So maybe, since no one was concerned that she never called to say she made it home, they thought she was happily enjoying the holiday weekend with her bf.
Just seems odd (again) because one report makes it sound like she was upset enough to need to get away and cool off, but another makes it sound like it was no big deal.
You know that her friends MUST have some insight into this. I mean if they really are that close to her I'm sure they would hear about it from her.

It seems to me ... that there seems a quite a bit of distancing going on now. We have not heard any thing from the group that was there that night or the lone bf in Ft W since his muffled interview. Yet there is still no clues, signs or evidence of her ever leaving that garage.

I hope he is getting grief counseling thru all this ..taking all this on at such a young age must be very intensified. I heard him say in that vid ..that he blames himself for all this .... Please if anyone here knows him ..encourage him to get into a grief and trauma counseling group. In some cases they can prescribe something to take that edge off when learning how to cope.

LOL I thought he said he wasn't mentally ABLE ....to continue that conversation.

I get the feeling of nervousness from him. Also a I can't tell if he has a borderline smile or that's just the way he speaks. I wish this case will be solved ASAP. And I hope for an alive and well Christina, but I'm a little worried on that one. IMO.
