Definitely conflicting.
I tried to locate the article where JM said that they had never met him, yet, that tidbit seems to have gone POOF, as well. :gaah:

I believe this was said by both her parents on Janes show. The dad was on the phone and interrupted to say something like "I wouldn't say he was a close friend he was more of an aquaintance". Not those exact words, but close

Oops I see the article now. We were posting at the same time LOL

This case reminds me mostly of Katelyn Markham. She went missing as of midnight, her boyfriend was elsewhere but had been the last to see her and last person on her phone. LE said they had no idea if a crime had been committed until her remains were found about 18 months later, over a state border about 25 miles away. No one has been arrested as yet, another 18 months or so later. She too left her dog behind. TES went there too (Ohio) and did a similar search, mostly a radius out from her apartment, last place she was known to be, and left, saying they would return if evidence or tips warranted it.

LE can only do so much. They need something to go on. They interviewed the BF in Katelyn's case many time, lots of other people, thought they had a hinky neighbor but he was later ruled out. But they always said they did not know if a crime took place and I guess it was mostly true. Much like Hailey Dunn as well. Lots of people thought an arrest would come as soon as a body was found, but it hasn't happened, again maybe 18 months ago or longer since she was found. Cause of death may not have been available due to length of time, but but were clearly murdered by how they were found.

Not all of these cases come to a conclusion.

Jmo

Yes you are correct ..not all cases come to a conclusion

JMO .. If anyone out there knows the facts and truth however difficult to tell ..Please Reveal the Truth so that Healing can begin.

I think what her mother and father said are basically the same thing. The "close friend" came from a media report on 9/04/2014 i.e. early on it's IMO pretty common for details like this to get mixed up in early reportings.

Nope I have it :fence:

I sat down with Jonnie McElroy, Christina’s mother desperate for answers on Wednesday, September 17. Two whole weeks after her daughter went missing. “I am in mission mode, I am going to find my daughter.” her mother stated. “It’s frustrating as a mother to not be given details about my own child’s whereabouts, we need awareness, we need help.” she goes on to say.
What We Do Know:
-Christina was with 4-5 of her friends the night of the disappearance. They all parked close to each other but Christina rode with them after leaving the bar to get something to eat before returning to her girlfriend’s apartment in the Shops.
-None of the articles of clothing she was wearing, cell phone and wallet have been located.
-Christina went to high school with the gentleman that was last seen with her. Jonnie tells me that she knows all of Christina’s friends but never met this particular gentleman.

As a mom, that stands out to me.

That may be true ... but after looking at basic and important details spread out over 38 days ..it is still a bit conflicting IMO

Morris was last seen at 3:57 a.m. walking into this parking garage. A six-second video is the last

proof showing Morris was still alive.

Her silver Toyota Celica coupe never left the garage that night. It was still there when co-

workers reported her missing
— three days later.

Her purse and cell phone are missing too.

FACT : Co Workers Reported her Missing
FACT: Purse & Cell Phone Missing
FACT: HER silver Toyota Celica NEVER left the garage that night (could it have left the other nights?)

It is disturbing that articles and efforts to find Christina seem to disappear. I have a Facebook friend from Allen who's son went missing the same time Christina went missing. It was later determined that he wasn't missing, but had been arrested or in trouble etc. As it turned out, he was also an acquaintance of Christina's and his Mom had put a link on her FB page to help find Christina. If you go to her page now, those links appear to be deleted. I don't understand why people who knew her or her family would do this. Don't they want to find her?

Doesn't the mother live in a different state than Christina? If so, how could she possibly know all of Christina's friends. Did Christina not
make any new friends after high school? The mother's statement that she knows all of Christina's friends seems weird to me. She probably
knows a vast majority of them but all of them???

I know, whether or not the mother knows all of her friends, probably does not matter.

Yes in my opinion, reporters do get things wrong especially in the initial reports. I noticed in one video the reporter is talking about the friend who was walking with her in the garage and the reporter says "she never saw her get into her car" as if the friend who was walking with CM in the garage was a female.

So we can't always pick apart what the reporters have said. Anyway, and this is my opinion, the friend walking with CM in the garage had nothing to do with it, so it's a moot point to determine their level of friendship.

Agreed. Two days of searching for the wrong color phone was frustrating. I don't blame the family because stuff happens, but still, big deal. It wouldn't have come out had we not pressed the issue either.

The whole phone thing (like the clothes) really bugs me. A solid description of what she looked like and her possession that night is important.

Yet anyone who saw her couldn't remember?
Ya right ....

Well like someone said maybe she has 2 phones.
She may be changed clothes a few times.

I don't know how long ago the mom moved, but, this WAS a high school friend. When kids are in high school, "most" parents know who their kids' close friends are.

Yes that's what I was thinking. I like to think I do and it makes me feel better thinking I do...LOL

Yeah I guess your right .. like this report also:

http://starlocalmedia.com/planocouri...a4bcf887a.html
Specific items Plano PD is looking for include the clothing Morris was last seen wearing: a

light, peach-colored shirt; multicolored skirt; black or dark-colored fedora; black backpack-type

purse; gold rings; an iPhone with a light green case; and a Canon camera.

She was last seen wearing a light gray T-shirt, shorts, black sandals and a black full-brim hat, police said. She was carrying a pull-string backpack and was wearing gold-colored rings.

Is it possible she may have gone to high school with the gentlemen but was not really friends with him during that time? Maybe he was someone she didn't pay any attention to during school but shared a class or so with him. She could have possibly bumped into him at the bar or wherever and sparked up a convo and then remembered who he was. This is just my opinion but something I could see happening. I tend to give people the label as being a "friend" even if it's just someone I know. "hey, this is my friend Josh, we just met"

I can see that as a real possibility here; but the MSM has also reported(see below) by information given during the past 38 days ...we are just going thru everything..
http://starlocalmedia.com/planocouri...a4bcf887a.html

A surveillance video released Friday morning from the parking garage where Morris was last seen

showed her walking with a close male friend to their respective cars on the first floor.

The bigger question is : What exactly would PPD be arresting for??? What Charges?? What exactly is the crime???
