O/T Question - when someone is arrested, does LE automatically release a Probable Cause Statement/Document? I have seen on other threads the minute someone is arrested, that information is available and on other threads where there is an arrest, there isn't. Does it depend on LE or the State it is in? Thanks anyone! :seeya:

Very good question .. I am sure we have LE that can answer that

Question: How unusual is it for an arrest to be made the day following a warrant being issued? How about if the warrant was issued for someone in a different county? I realize that it can happen with a fast timeline, but my initial thought is that it was done very quickly.

I am not sure ...I would think it may depend if constable is available to serve that warrant ...workload..level of importance etc

Also, IMO, it was imperative to have the "inmates" in custody for any reason they could find. Quickly.

BBM- Just picking out things that stand out ..
1. Was CM visiting someone else in the area then after she left the scruggs location??
2. Vid must confirm CM never made it to her car..so who's car did she make it to????

Morris had been visiting friends near The Shops at Legacy in Plano. She was captured on video surveillance just before 4 a.m. Aug. 30 entering a parking garage with a friend. They parted ways outside the camera’s view, police said.

Morris never made it to her car
, which was still in the garage days later. She hasn’t been heard from since.

Morris’ mother, Jonni McElroy, of Tulsa, Okla., spends every day looking for her daughter.

“I don’t have any answers yet,” McElroy said Wednesday evening. “She’ll definitely be found. I’m just hopeful it’s alive.”

Police spokesman David Tilley said Wednesday that detectives are still tracking down leads. He said he didn’t have any public updates to share.

Bypassing the walker, as for the current moment he seems to be a red herring, I like Tatum's theory that Christina made it to her car and actually searched her car for "missing keys" if indeed the keys were missing and not just a desperate ploy to elicit a response from bf.

Regarding possible witnesses to any funny business in the garage, Duncan Donuts delivery person, newspaper delivery person, etc.

Christina's mother said, "“I feel like she was intercepted,” says McElroy, who believes that the key to solving her daughter’s disappearance lies in the vehicles that exited the garage shortly after she entered.?

Plano PD said, "Plano police are now convinced that Morris is no longer in the shopping center area and are considering bringing in outside search and rescue teams. They’re asking anyone that may have been exiting or entering the parking garage last Saturday at about 4 a.m. to contact them. Someone, they say, may have seen something important without realizing it."

Why couldn't she have gotten into another parked car and driven off in that? IMO that's a possibility that no one is tossing around.

That may be true ... but wonder if she just by passed up her own car and walked to another persons apartment nearby??

Plus it was confirmed there was no interception or diversion on the paths to the cars in the garage

39,000 outstanding warrants in Collin County. Albeit, 90% might be very low priority like traffic tickets and inspection violations, still county governments are notoriously slow and a one day turnaround probably means an elevated priority IMO.

You can also surrender yourself. My ex once had a hot check go to warrant. The Sheriff's office called us the day it did and that I drove him up to the jail to surrender himself. Far easier than actually getting arrested.

Okay, soooooooo...... if they parted ways outside of the camera's view, how do they know she never made it to her car??? Was her car still in the camera's view? What is the deal with so many discrepancies?

Also from the article:

"When walking alone, don’t shuffle your feet or avoid eye contact with those you pass. And don’t be texting while walking. Instead, walk confidently with a purpose and pay attention to your surroundings, police say. That sends criminals a message: “I see you, and I am not a victim.”

Did Christina cross someone's path and avoid eye contact? She was texting shortly before entering the garage, but I don't believe for the entire walk she was texting. As far as walking confidently and paying attention to your surroundings, I don't think Christina was doing those things either.

Also from the article: "Surveillance cameras are great in homes, Dawson said, but consider mounting them at eye level rather than 15 feet up where the view captures the top of a hat rather than a face. Good lighting is also key with surveillance cameras."

Although Officer Dawson is speaking of cameras in homes makes me wonder if at some point the garage camera caught just the top of a hat similar to Christina's, but were unable to verify that it was indeed Christina because of not being able to see the face. If we get into a scenario where someone tried to pull a ruse by donning Christina's outfit including the hat and being seen on camera . . . well that's not good either.

At this point all I really know is the girl is gone. . .

Lyrics for Gone By Montgomery Gentry

This ain't no temporary, typical, tearful good-bye, uh uh uh

This ain't no breakin' up and wakin' up and makin' up one more time, uh uh uh

This is gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone

Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday

Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang bang

Gone like a '59 Cadillac

Like all the good things that ain't never coming back

She's gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone, she's gone

Absolutely! Did she have access to another vehicle in which she left the building? ...............................

Much better in the Eyes of the Law to voluntarily turn yourself in than have a warrant issued for your arrest, in my opinion. Also thinking that Collin County would have any empathy for someone whose live-in was missing would be totally underestimating how closely one is being scrutinized. Or, better yet, take care of those pesky little court hearings right away instead of delay, delay, delay. Sometimes it's the little things, in my opinion, that can lead to One's own undoing.

So, who has custody of Christina's car? Were forensics done on the car? Dusting for fingerprints? Any fingerprints that can't be identified ? Luminol for minute specks of blood?

Gosh! I wonder if bf even has a vehicle to get around in now? Maybe they gave Christina's car back to him. . . Prlly not.

Ya know ..This is a good question ..Where is CM's car right now?? Did LE tow it to forensics??
We know that all vid surveillance has been sent to lab for further enhancement purposes.
Did other things get sent for processing??
Friends and those with her that night are considered Witness's per PPD .
$10,000.00 ...someone please say what you know to be credible and bring the parents and close family some closure.

http://foxnewsinsider.com/2014/09/0...nd-daughter-who-vanished-texas-parking-garage

Surveillance video shows Morris and a friend walking to their cars before going their separate ways. The friend who was with her is not being treated as a person of interest.

Morris’ car was found in the parking garage, still locked, but there was no sign of her. Police said they had "a lot of catching up to do" because Morris was not reported missing for four days

This msm report says vid shows them walking to their cars ... ?????
And If the male friend is not a poi ..then why can they not release his name??

MHO is it looks more questionable after all this time and she still has not been found or recovered.no sign,no trace,no evidence,no leads ..
He was the last one shown walking with her per reports.

I'm still not sold on the idea of Walker as perp. The surveillence vid is just too casual. Open-body stride. No over the shoulder glances, no visual/physical signs of premeditated... anything, really...
Nothing menacing.
Nothing to indicate romantic advances.

Simply based upon his few FB pics I've seen, he strikes me as arrogant and confident.

If he had anything to do with this, my bet would be that all he had in mind was some "romance" with a vulnerable woman, and was surprised and angered when his advances were rejected. This may have led to an accident and then a cover up.

So I don't think he would have been watching out to see if anyone else was around because he wasn't planning to do anything bad.

If this is true she would have had to make arrangements with someone in person that night, or by phone or text. If by phone or text, wouldn't LE be able to get this info quite easily.

I don't understand the hang up. LE should know who it was unless it was a stranger. If that were the case they'd have his pic all over the news.

I'm curious about a possible second phone. It would make sense for her to have one for work and a personal phone, especially if Dad was already paying for the personal line. I know I wouldn't want to be giving my personal number to clients of a dating service, and as the photographer people would have reason to contact her directly (change appointment times or cancellation, etc). She could have contacted someone from that work line possibly...especially if her main line died which would be consistent with her last phone ping being at the Shoppes. Her friends and family might not have even realized she had a 2nd phone. Of course the boss should know and have told LE...but if a client is potentially involved it might explain why they went so quiet!

Of course this theory contradicts her Walker having anything to do with this which is what I was speculating in my last post lol.

:okay:

All good stuff, MzO!
She could have had another phone. Or LE has activity on phone that they haven't released.
Could be.
