Found Safe TX - Christopher Ramirez, 3, followed dog into woods, dog came back, Grimes Co, 6 Oct 2021

  • #81
Crews still searching for 3-year-old who followed dog into woods in Grimes Co.

At one point, search crews said the dogs had his scent, but lost it.

The Grimes County Sheriff says they had divers search a specific pond yesterday where the dog is known to go.

The forest is so thick, crews say it's impossible to search by ATVs, and there is a heavy canopy, so it's hard to see the ground from above.

Mother gives impassioned plea to public to find missing toddler

Sowell said law enforcement and volunteers were listening for the cries of the young boy last night, but didn’t hear anything.

“No out cries of a three year old being hungry after two hours. I don’t care what language they speak. They’re hungry. They’re thirsty. They’re going to cry out. We have not heard that. To be quite frank about it,” said Sowell.

My heart breaks for his mom. I pray he is found safe.

In addition:
Only looked away for 2 minutes
Wouldn't wander in the woods
Must have been abducted

Deja Vu indeed.

Can someone fill me in on what case you’re thinking of? PM if you’d prefer.

My neck of the woods. It's pretty rural in that area.. and wooded, as stated. The mom just broke my heart. They've got the best of everybody out there. I hope they find the little guy..

My Opinion Only: Reminds me of 2: Dulce and Summer.

I’m not discounting this mother at all - don’t get me wrong. But I’ve been fooled by crying moms quite a few times.

It's just the similarities in the early aftermath of Summer Wells' disappearance:
In both cases:
Groceries were unloaded
Dogs were present
They were out of mothers' sight for "2 minutes"
Parent said they would never leave the property
Parent immediately sensed an abduction

The other similarity is that we are praying that they will both be found safe.

Have the searches into sheds and outbuildings been done? They were mentioned, but done yet? Any old junk cars around? Would the state hydrology office have a map of abandoned wells in that area? So sad and so strange.

No, not doubting moms. I am saying it reminds me of those missing cases, as they were all near woods and it happened so quick.

News here says mom and whoever was with her were returning from selling food & drinks at some intersection. They were unloading items from that. If that’s accurate, did anyone see the little one there?

Sorry to post so many times. Screenshot from Google Maps. There are certainly 2 "attractive" places to a child (with check marks). Also, the little red dots I added, along either a trail or a high-wire access??? Easier to walk along and pretty close. So many places he could be.

"Her neighbor told her she saw her son chasing their dog down the road and when she got that information she took off running in the direction the neighbor told her the dog went," says Sgt. Smith.

I don't like thinking about it, but are search teams checking road sides in case this little boy wandered on the highway or road and got hit by a car?

Please check all cars- everywhere nearby. I’ll never forget the case in Dallas where child was found in car missed in search.
