Davis, a young mother, was last seen during a TikTok live stream at 10:09 p.m. that night. According to a post shared by the Breckenridge Police Department, she is believed to be possibly injured based on comments made during the live stream.

The family of Chyra Davis, age 24, says that she was last heard from on Sunday, Jan. 18, leaving the place where she has been living in Breckenridge. Davis’ aunt posted on Facebook that her phone is turned off and she hasn’t replied to any messages from the family trying to contact her.

Davis usually wears her hair in a messy bun and sometimes wears glasses, according to her family. She went to Mineral Wells High School and has a 2-year-old daughter.

Missing woman found deceased in Breckenridge residence - Breckenridge Texan

The Texas Rangers and Breckenridge police discovered a body at a residence at 602 S. O'Connor St. today, Jan. 27, during their investigation into the disappearance of a 24-year-old woman, who was last heard from on Sunday, Jan. 18, according to Breckenridge Police Chief Blake Johnson.

The Texas Rangers and Breckenridge police discovered a body at a residence at 602 S. O’Connor St. today, Jan. 27, during their investigation into the disappearance of a 24-year-old woman, who was last heard from on Sunday, Jan. 18, according to Breckenridge Police Chief Blake Johnson. They are currently searching for a man identified as “a person of interest” in the death.

The deceased was identified as Chyra Davis, Johnson said.

UPDATE | Shane Allen Anthony is arrested in connection to the death of Chyra Davis.

Breckenridge Police Chief Blake Johnson confirmed with KTXS that Anthony was arrested Tuesday in connection with Davis arrest.


Anthony is in the Stephens County Jail on a $200,000 bond.

Anthony has been charged with a second-degree felony for allegedly tampering with or fabricating evidence related to a human corpse. His bond is set at $200,000, and he is currently in the Stephens County Sheriff’s Jail.
