I wonder if it's not officially confirmed yet and perhaps that is why they still have him as unidentified in NAMUS?

Unfortunately, the only place I can find verification of him being identified is not linkable here. If someone else is comfortable emailing the ME or LE for verification, then I think it can be moved if they verify.
