Yikes. I watched it twice and I was sure it was a doll at first, then I think the legs seems to come in and out when he lifts it. It is so stiff, it does not move like a small baby. It’s almost impossible for me to believe anyone would do this and especially be filmed? But we’ve seen so many disturbing things here.

I hope I’m wrong but it looks real to me. I’m glad this is being investigated.

In my opinion, a lot more parents posting their children on TikTok should be looked at carefully.

Chief Duriso says they developed information on where the man lives. They went to his apartment Tuesday on Gulfway Drive, spoke with the man, and saw the baby.

Many people who've watched the video say they believe it's a doll and not a real baby in the video.

The chief told KFDM he believes the baby is real and less than one year old. He says the detective and patrol lieutenant told him the baby is okay.

I thought it was a doll too, but at 26 seconds into the video the leg moves in a way that freaks me out.
Also, at 22 seconds in he picks it up and takes a step back as if the baby has a lot of weight, much more weight than a doll should have. Of course, it could be an expensive doll that weighs as much as a real baby but why would he have a doll like that? I think the way he handles it in general it seems like it has the "heft" of an actual baby JMO I really hope it is a doll, super unsettling video

The size is that of an infant who looks like it's wearing a navy winter vest for a small dog.
I go back and forth, doll vs baby.

Baby:
The footage captures a fast frame of the top their head and it looks like it could be real hair then when the guy takes it off the car he holds it up in front of him and looks like he's beginning to smile, that's something we do with babies, then the video cuts out.
Doll:
Stiff body with no movement.
I have to watch it again and stop at the poster's timestamps to see possible leg move.

Shoddy reporting doesn't help.

There are reborn dolls that are like real babies. Like the one ^^^. If it was a real baby it was a dumb thing to do, but I don't think the baby was hurt. It was on a firm surface being moved around in snow. Would it of been different if the man was making a snow angel on the car hood or windshield?

JMO, but that was an extremely weird thing to do with an infant, do you think it was a pleasant experience having snow plowed into your face and neck? I'm worried at what else he can dream up to do.

If it is a real infant, it cannot regulate its own body heat to the degree an adult can, it also cannot consent to making a “snow angel” the way an adult can, and it is barefoot with skin being covered in snow for the purpose of a viral video of a grown human using their body as a snow plow. Yes. It is absolutely entirely different and would be endangerment. I wouldn't have been very surprised if the parent had a Reborn doll they’d used for this video, but the fact that the investigation is still going tells me it’s very possible that this was an actual child in the video - because a doll dressed in that outfit being readily available to show the detective would have easily resulted in a closed case.

Yesterday I happened to stumble upon a YouTube short of Shawna Johnson (the Olympic gymnast) and her husband doing a similar human windshield wiper thing. (She’s very short compared to her tall husband)

I think unfortunately it was a social media trend.
