I don't believe the abuse story at all.She could live with the boyfriend or uncle. Why stay? And if he was so scary why have a boyfriend at the same time?

Unless there is an MSM report or court report about him being abusive. I am not going to believe it.

Get off WS and read what her friends are saying. And I believe them considering he told Crystal she would never leave him or the house.

That isn't the same thing as Crystal told me he used to beat her though.

I don't know how divorce works in Texas, but in my state if you have children, you have to be legally separated at least 12 months before the divorce can be finalized. So if divorce was finalized in June, 2017, in my state that means the couple would have started the process at least a year before and often it's longer than that. It would not be as "fresh" or "recent" as you may think. While emotions still could be volatile, probably not as volatile as if you were 3 months into the process. Just a thought.

I think ppl are just speculating that he was abusive based on what the uncle said.

I have not read anywhere that he is abusive

i read this immediately after she went missing on FB or maybe media comment boards before everyone started shutting down pages.

Maybe he said that during an argument. That would still not be abuse.

Police don't have to be called in order for someone to live in an abusive relationship. I'm not sure why that's the decision maker for anyone. Also, she may have lived there because he threatened her or the kids if she left.
He didn't call the police and he was expecting her. The uncle did because she told her uncle what the ex said. He immediately realized the ex story made no sense and called police.

Emotions can still be volatile. Heck, as recent as March the ex was posting pictures of her. It's a very dangerous time in any woman's life (like pregnancy) for even the nicest guy (and now ex-wives are catching up statistically) to flip out.

What are the chances that this is some random person? I personally think it's one of two people that have been in her life. Jmo.

Beating physically is not the only definition of abuse.

From the PI's site:

I get the feeling that the uncle isn't ruling out anyone. He doesn't have pictures of either guy, just crystal and him.

They list her missing as of the last time she was probably viewable on the boyfriend's security system. 7:03 am. So they are not assuming that she sent any of those texts at all.

Really hope the investigator is able to search more for her phone and access store cameras. She should be caught on some as she drove.

Looking through the BF's FB page, there are no photos of him and Crystal.

One is from August 2 and 6th but they are of him and then no more photos until she goes missing

Just odd.

Perhaps he was respecting her wishes to not post any. That doesn't seem suspicious to me considering the great lengths she went to hide the truth

Yes. Especially if, as her uncle suspects, someone else was sending texts from her phone.

True but I have seen zero proof he is an abuser.I would like proof from at least LE before jumping to conclusions

Tricia is still accepting donations; getting critical.
Thanks, Mercedes.

Well maybe we will get lucky and she will tell us. I think there are thousands of women a day that don't live to tell anyone. Proof is a tricky thing when there aren't any physical scars.

I posted a pic from her twitter earlier where you can clearly see bruises on her arm in the same spot someone would grab another.

I'm not saying he was abusive, none of us here can possibly know that. What I am saying is that statement was told to the Uncle and was the basis for his calling the police when the EX didn't bother.

Well, according to the transcription from Ashley Banfield, the computer with the factory reset button set was taken from her EX's home.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1708/31/ptab.01.html

"HAWTHORNE: So when they went to Stephen, when Stephen went to the house to ask Stephen if they would allow, be allowed to look around. He said

absolutely, let detectives look at anything they wanted to, including the computer. And as you well know, just because we take the computer back to

the factory reset, it doesn`t change the hard drive.

So, we have got all that being taking place and it`s all in the forensics on the computer is being done currently. "

According to BF's comments, he thinks that the laptop he gave her could have been in the bag she is seen carrying with her on the video stills he provided Ashley Banfield.

If he knew about her boyfriend maybe he thought she decided to stay with him the night.

I would like to see video of her actually walking out her boyfriend's house and getting into her car.

Why have they not released video or why did the boyfriend not bring it with him to air on TV?

I'd bet he has security cametas outside of his house.
