I'm watching the Ashley Banfield show now (I DVR'd it) and she is interviewing yet ANOTHER male friend of Crystal. This friend (TK) last heard from Crystal on Thursday before she disappeared when she texted him to wished him a happy birthday, calling him handsome and tell him she loved him. She also had previously told TK how happy she was with her new boyfriend. Maybe this is just, me but does anyone else think it's strange how many very close male friends she had that she talked to about very personal affairs? She didn't tell her ex-husband about her boyfriend (according to texts with the other male friend) but she told these two other guys all about the boyfriend. This is not meant to be a derogatory in anyway, I'm just trying to understand her personality and the people around her that are speaking. Was she telling these other men about the boyfriend to try to let them down easily or was she someone who usually had closer relationships with men than women? Are these male friends just seeking their 15 minutes or what? Where are all her female friends and coworkers? :thinking: (Please don't throw things at me, lol :tomato

I'm torn on this case. Both ex and bf have motives. But....I'm leaning in two other ways

1) I've been married a long time. At about 17 years, our marriage crashed. (Thankfully we made it through). But, when I was "done", all I could think about was freedom. After being married to a controlling man (thankfully he's no longer that way), all I could think about was how nice it would be to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I was NOT looking to walk away and immediately get into another relationship. I know the older we get, the faster a relationship can go. But CM had issues once, then finally made the split and was somewhat free, I'm surprised she wasn't out just having fun and playing the field. My first thought is there IS another man, not just bf who is in the spotlight, if not more than a few men. She was younger and beautiful and finally free.

BF makes it sound hot and heavy but maybe it wasn't. Maybe they were having fun and maybe he was going on the trip but would only be a "friend of the uncles". But surely if there are other men, her cell records would show that.

Who is to say ex doesn't have a gf too and they were both ok with new relationships. If he's so quiet, he's not going to broadcast that to everyone. Maybe he's not the jealous one??

2) I was in real estate for 8 years. I'm close to TX so our geography is the same. It wasn't uncommon for me to meet my clients at a meeting place so we could all ride together. I'm thinking she met a client at Motel 6 so they could ride together. If I was meeting someone and offering to drive, I would definitely back into the spot so when they got in the car, I could pull out. The only flaw I have in this is with Harvey coming it sounds like most people were preparing, not house hunting :/.

I'm a woman and throughout my entire career I've worked mostly with engineers and construction workers. I have many male friends and only one woman friend who happens to be my best friend.

Yes.I have been thinking the same thing.This guy Toby and also the Brad guy she told personal stuff to.So many different men make me wonder if they were involved maybe before Paul.

Wow, not what I expected at all. Looks like a dumpy area, that street looks worse than ours here in Michigan that heave from the freeze in winter. For some reason I had it pictured to be an upscale real estate company with a nice posh office, and "curb appeal" as they say in the RE world. I guess I was going by the fancy car, her glamorous appearance, etc. One more reminder to me that things aren't always as they appear.

As for the pink dress. She was wearing it the night before. She ultimately left in a black dress for the day, the next morning. Maybe she just slipped back into her already worn dress to get ready in the morning. Most women don't put on black before doing their makeup and hair (especially long blonde hair) because every strand that falls loose as you are doing your hair, every drifting powder from makeup, etc. that ends up on a black dress must be cleaned off. She likely got herself ready for the day and changed into the black dress last thing before leaving. Fresh and clean and ready for her day. Poor lady. I hope they find her soon.

The Sheriff might be saying nice things and saying they have no suspects because they don't want to spook the suspect. If it's the boyfriend who did it I would want to keep him calm and talking as long as I could so he doesn't lawyer up.

I have not seen anything that shows BF was more into her than she was into him. She was planning on taking him along on a family trip, apparently. That sounds pretty serious to me. He is in a bad spot if he is telling the truth (I think he is so far) as people are making him out to be an obsessed nut job, imo. If he was not speaking out, he would be criticized too.

I also meant to comment on the video of her getting into the car. I notice the way she looks around. I don't know what to think of this. I am always aware of my surroundings (I read too much WS lol).

I don't know if her look is just looking around checking out her surroundings and being aware

Or...

Was she being stalked. Did she have a reason to be nervous? Did she feel like someone was watching her?

Or was she trying to be secretive? She wasn't supposed to be there so she was looking around trying to make sure no one she knew was around and saw her.
