Cynthia Martyna Bah-Traore Namus

I do not see it mentioned in her Namus casefile, but did read elsewhere that both her phone and car were recovered in/around Waco.

I also do not know how "Crowley" (in the subject) fits in to her case, but am including in the map below - Crowley -> Grandview (last seen on video) -> Waco (car/phone potentially located in this area).

Thank you for sharing , I didn't think anyone would respond. Not much mentioned locally about her disappearance. She was a friend of mine from my old church. She lived in Crowley, Texas and was going through a divorce. She has 2 sons. There is surveillance video stills from the gas station that She was last seen at which I think was in Granbury. Crowley is a small town and have admitted that they don't have the resources to look for her. So basically no one is looking for this woman

"Cynthia Martyna Bah-Traore, 39 was last seen on video surveillance at the Shell gas station at Criner Street and Interstate 35W in Grandview at 10:35 p.m. on Feb. 3."

Texas Rangers?

Your state & Federal legislators should be concerned about a missing citizen -- contact those offices and ask what can be done to locate your friend.

Please keep us posted!
Thank you. I'm new to this world. I sent a simple message to the crowley pd asking for any updates emphasizing its been 2 years with no updates. I thought about messaging some local reporters to see if any can get interested. Thank you for the advice!

There are quite literally thousands of people on this website (websleuths) on a daily basis; use the momentum that can come from this - reach out to law enforcement, media, etc. along the known path of travel and even further as you can - ask for help here and other places, there are people who will help. Promise.

I live in Tarrant county(Arlington), and just heard about this a few days ago on a podcast. This is so sad and unfortunate there was no local exposure.

Her family says they reported the mother of two and substitute teacher missing after she didn't show up at church as planned.

Two weeks later, on Feb. 15, a trooper found Bah-Traore's vehicle abandoned along Interstate 35 near Waco.

It was in the middle of a historic winter storm. Police say the car's battery was dead, the gas tank empty and Bah-Traore's purse was gone.
