Also if true D'Lanny Chairez is going to have a hard time explaining that one, did the loving family she gave him to bring him back dead?

SAN ANTONIO - Family member confirmed on Wednesday that the body of Baby James Chairez has been found.

There is a heavy police presence Wednesday morning at D'Lanny's home off W. Military Drive on the West Side.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

Someone needs to pay for this. Not just the person who caused the death of the poor baby, but whoever dropped the ball on the investigation -- how, how was he there this whole time and not found until now? I want to see consequences for whoever allowed this to drag out, whoever allowed that poor baby to rot in plain sight while so many were desperately concerned for his wellbeing and whereabouts.

What on earth?!?!?! How did investigators miss a baby and the signs he was there this entire time ( we all know the signs I mean). Was he already passed when she was arrested? Or he was hidden and passed there all alone? This is absolutely unbelievable and worse than I feared. Omg! That poor little baby.

he should have been found day one (that blanket should have been found day one as well) This is appalling and zero excuses why it took until TODAY to search the residence thoroughly enough. A run through with a cadaver dog would have sufficed. absolutely unreal to me. say whatever you want in defense of LE on this one.. ball dropped so hard. UGH

I swear I remember reading that family had cleaned out her home after her arrest, or after she went missing. She never went back there. I felt like it was owned by a family member who was allowing her to live there as she was a single mom and needed help. How could he have been missed?? I know the place was a wreck but how do you miss the smell of rotting flesh? If you have ever smelled it, you never forget its unique odor. I don't get it, but I've felt he was no longer with us. So very sad. All of these cases are making me feel like I need to sign up to be a foster parent. I love my independence since my kid is grown, but I have an empty bedroom and could maybe make a difference for a kid in need of safety, stability, normalcy and sanity.

San Antonio Police released a statement saying that during the follow-up search of a trailer located off W. Military Drive in the ongoing investigation of Baby James' disappearance, human remains were found.

At this time, they said they couldn't confirm the identify until the Bexar County Medical Examiner conducts his investigation and positively identifies the remains.

What?!? Family cleaned and LE searched that home, LE didn't even find the bloody sheet, family found that too, this is seriously botched!!! I'm fuming, that baby deserved more! He was truly let down by everybody even after death, my heart is aching so much for him!

I am stunned. Beyond. Not at the outcome, not really, sadly, but how is a bloody sheet and a dead baby not found during the most basic sweep of the house? They’re looking for a missing BABY!.
Maybe look through the house of the mom at least half-a**edly!!?? I can’t usually find my own car keys, but I think I could find an actual BABY!

Every child case, I say no more, I can’t take one more, but every time I do, and I always think well, this one couldn’t hurt more than these other cases, but they always do. Every time. We feel the full weight of them almost every time, I think. So heavy, all these sweet, precious ones.

Did I blink and miss something or did they spend over an hour just moving the camera equipment around and then end the video with no announcement?

Uh...? She was caught on multiple CCTV cameras moving around with AND without James. The house was searched, her family cleaned it. How could this happen? How didn't anyone find the baby? How didn't they know where to look? I don't get it, they have her on camera going from point A to point B.

Why would she leave him there and the evidence and take off? Who hides a body in the house and takes off? What the heck?!

Doesn’t work for me, keeps freezing up. Hmmm. Anyone know what was said? I’m so angry and sick and saddened by this and I want some answers as to how that poor boy was missed. Moo
