Today a 24 year old woman in Fort Worth, Tx. was found guilty of attempted capital murder for dumping her hours old baby in a trash dumpster. He was wrapped in 2 plastic bags & as a result suffered permanent brain damage from lack of oxygen. He was found by my veternarian & his assistant, so I have been following this case closely. The jury is still deliberating on the sentence, but there is the possibility of a life sentence.
