Just to go back to Betty's question about were any other charges brought, I am wondering if John Norman actually went to trial, or if he always plead out

Given that it seems there was a clear cover up here, a plea deal seems like the most likely option, but I can't find the answer online

Yeah I doubt anyone wanted him to testify on anything. With the light sentences I would think it was a deal he worked out. Especially since he tried running one of the rings from prison.
