Circumstances of Disappearance
Demetrius Jermain Elder was last seen at 1303 Dryden Avenue in Dallas, Texas on September 27, 1997. He had $30,000 from a settlement he received for growing up around lead contamination from a West Dallas smelter.
Family believes he was robbed and murdered, probably by someone he knew and trusted for his money that he was keeping inside his house.
A few years later his brother received a phone call saying, “You're going to end up dead just like your brother if you keep messing with my business." Police are sure foul play was involved.

Maybe and it's just an idea, the guy who killed tupac shakur was known .. you never know .. rap music is very competitive and there is always violence, robberies and things like that but music is not the culprit, it is the people who are to blame

Elder's safety deposit box was discovered empty inside his apartment shortly afterwards. He won a $30,000 settlement from a west Dallas smelter as the result of possible lead contamination prior to his disappearance. His pickup truck was found abandoned in Lancaster, Texas.>>
