Thanks Treelights for joining on and the other users as well. Please help as much as you can if you think you have any ideas/info that could help.

I'm wondering, did she drive from Tomball to Houston and that's where the foul play occurred

OR

was she driven to Houston from Tomball AFTER Foul play occurred?

If she was going to visit friends, I think that she probably drove herself to Houston.

I'm not a member and don't want to sign up to find out.

Yup looks like its her. Shows her as having all male friends on the bottom left. Some concern me. I'm hoping she wasn't Internet dating and trusted the wrong person.

Thank you! This is great info :)

Investigators have tracked several leads but so far have been unable to identity a suspect, said Sgt. James Dousay, of the HCSO a Homicide Unit.

Dousay said it appeared that Hughes had been brutally killed inside the SUV where the vehicle was found, though he did not reveal how she died because the investigation is ongoing and her killer is on the loose.

Hughes, Dousay said, frequented the area near where her body was discovered not far from FM 1960 and some of her friends lived in the vicinity. She had recently gone to a few pawn shops in the area. He said Hughes may have known her killer, who could likely may have frequented the same neighborhood.

The person responsible for her death has not been found, but officials said they will face a charge of murder.

On Friday, Hughes' mother walked town under the bridge on Interstate 45. She tearfully returned to bring new flowers.
"If it happened here, I want them here, you know?" Deborah Hughes said.

Nearby, Dora Hughes' sister, Lora Grill, put up a Crime Stoppers poster.

"We are pleading to the public to help us find this someone. To not only help put Dora to rest and ease our suffering but to also prevent any other action to be done to any other person or family," Grill said.
