Today I received an email outlining all the new Texas state traffic and criminal laws that go into effect on September 1. One of these laws is SB1315, that requires the Department of Public Safety to develop an alert system for missing senior citizens similar to the current Amber Alert Program. I think this is a giant step forward in locating the elderly missing.
