Anything new locals?

This is nothing new but I either forgot it or missed this from an earlier article. He loved the lake, but was thinking of selling his home. Then he was going to get a loan to repair it. Then two days before he disappeared he changed his mind about repairing it.

Towery approached the family when he thought about selling his home, Boyd said.
"I was worried because I knew how much he loved the lake," she said.
After they decided to stay, Towery was going to get a loan to repair his home.
April 15, the Saturday before Towery disappeared, she said, he decided to hold off on the repairs. April 17, Boyd was notified he was missing.

He looks young for 56 unless the photo was older...still late for a mid life crisis, I believe.
This has been a while I need to go back and read again.

I wonder why there haven't been any pleas for his return by his wife? He has a daughter as well.

I've suspected this is voluntary all along- and the silence from family seems to fit.

Another Cancer Curing Doctor Found Shot Dead Directly After SWAT Raid on Clinic

Am I the only one that sees a connection?

Read the Comment on this article
The shootings in Florida have already been investigated after the original article was determined to be started by a "fake news" facebook post. None of the deaths were related to their line of work, two were domestic incidents, one was a suicide following a fight with the spouse, and one involved someone with early dementia getting lost hiking. I don't see any correlation with the cancer curing doctor - chiropractors don't do that type of research, they do not keep or administer drugs, but good catch on your part with the other death. Here's the article on the debunked deaths. Doctors' deaths were not connected, as fake news site claims

No updates in a couple years. This is a really perplexing case. You don't see grown men with no known enemies just vanish into thin air.

Just posting this Charley project link and information again. It’s possible authorities have some kind of evidence from his vehicle but haven’t released it. I wonder if his cell phone records showed anything.

Glenn Layne Towery – The Charley Project
Details of Disappearance
Towery was last seen in Goliad County, Texas on April 17, 2017. He left home at 7:30 a.m. to drive to work; he was a chiropractor with an office in the 100 block of Mockingbird Circle in Victoria, Texas. He was sighted at a convenience store in Raisin, Texas that morning; he usually stopped there on the way to work. He never arrived at work and has never been heard from again.

His gray 2014 Ford F-150 pickup truck with the Texas license plate number HTV 2298 was found abandoned at a rural farm in southeastern Victoria County on May 7; it had been there since at least April 27. It was parked along a fence at the end of a private road, about a mile and a half from the nearest public road. The area is very remote and covered in brush. There was no sign of Towery at the scene. A photo of the truck is posted with this case summary.

Authorities believe Towery was taken against his will, and when his truck was located, they treated it as a crime scene and thoroughly examined it for evidence. Towery's personal belongings were inside the vehicle, but there was no sign of him in the vicinity. It's uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning or to miss appointments with patients at his chiropractic office.

Towery's wife filed for divorce in August 2017, four months after his disappearance. She stated she did this in order to get rights to the property she jointly owned with her husband; she could not make the mortgage payments on their $310,000 home. His disappearance remains unsolved.
