ETA- I’ve only served on one jury. It was a drug case but I got the distinct feeling the defendant had two prior “strikes” making a guilty plea a lifetime sentence. Just a hunch on my part. Anyway, I found my fellow jurors took their job very seriously. Almost reverent. We found him NG bc the prosecution just didn’t prove their case. No one should avoid jury duty. It is way too important.
