Found Safe TX - Edilberto "Beto" Lopez, 44, Bend National Park, Brewster County, 1 Sep 2018

Edilberto "Beto" Lopez went missing from Bend National Park Saturday.

He was last seen wearing a light blue, long sleeve shirt with dark sleeved, white shorts, yellow and green tennis shoes, and possibly a grey hat and dark blue sweater.

Lopez' last known location was in the Chisos Mountains on Pinnacles Trail at about 1:30 P.M. Saturday.

I hope they find them. The temps in the area are under 89 degrees so I don't think he's in danger of a heat stroke. I hope he has plenty of water and waits to be rescued.

Just a note, the area he was hiking in is called BIG BEND National Park. I hope he is found soon.

Big Bend NP is absolutely massive, 1250 sq miles and water is scarce particularly this time of the year. The Rangers there are the best of the best.
