  • Ives is 5'8" tall, 125 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
  • She was last seen on July 10 while picking up clothes at Broadway Avenue in Conroe.
  • Ives is known to stay at different residences and does not have a cell phone or vehicle.
  • If you have any information, contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at (936) 760-5800, option 3 and refer to case #23A223232.

Thanks @PommyMommy for starting this thread. Certainly not much information released so far.

So a few standard questions, including:

- Who reported Erica missing and why the month-long delay in doing so?
- Was she in a relationship at the time?
- Does she have any children?
- Any known physical or mental health issues?

The posting indicates Erica does not have a permanent residence, cell phone, or vehicle, so who had she been staying with recently?

The statement "She was last seen on July 10 while picking up clothes at Broadway Avenue in Conroe" is unclear. Does that mean Erica was picking up her own clothes from a residence she had been staying at? Since Erica didn't have a vehicle, logic suggests either she was only picking up a few items that she could carry on foot, or else she was given a ride to that location.

Good questions, @Dargon335.

I expected Broadway Avenue to be in the center of town and thought maybe there would be a shelter there but there's nothing like that. It's just a little strip with what looks like a concrete plant and a few houses. Odd... MOO

Yes the maps show very little in that area. There are a few residences on the west part of Broadway Avenue near Main Street, but there is virtually nothing on the eastern side. If Erica was seen 'picking up clothes' on Broadway Avenue, then IMO it would have been somewhere along the western part.

If she had no permanent residence, no vehicle, and no phone, then IMO it's possible she was having financial issues as well. No word so far if she was employed.

If you do a search under her name and "missing" on Facebook a person who says they are a relative has an update on her vehicle information that is interesting but not verified at this time.

[...]

Officials said she was staying at different locations and doesn't have her phone or vehicle.

A friend of Ives for more than 15 years told KHOU 11 she believes Ives may have been seen just days after she went missing, saying her friends and family are worried something may have happened to her.

"One way or another, we want her home. It's really hard," said AM, Ives' friend. "She's got a daughter that loves her. She's got people that love her and a whole lot of people that want her back."

Thanks @PommyMommy for the update. Per the MSM above, Erica owns both a car and a phone, but for whatever reason doesn't have them in her possession.

We still have no reliable information about where she was staying at the time she disappeared, her relationship status, etc.

When she was last seen 'picking up clothes' on Broadway Avenue, I'm wondering if she had possession of her phone and car, and whether someone may have been with her at the time. Was she possibly picking up clothing from a residence she had lived in at one point? The details of her disappearance are quite vague and unclear.

This is the most recent MSM report I could find, from 25 September, 2023:

[...]
There are discrepancies about when Ives was last seen. There are reports that Ives was last seen July 10 while picking up clothing at Broadway Avenue in Conroe and there are reports that she was last seen either July 16 or July 17 at the Valero Jiffy Mart in Conroe.
[...]

First time I recall seeing MSM information regarding a possible sighting at the Jiffy Mart.

[...]
The authorities have reported that Ives is known to stay at different residences and does not have a phone or a vehicle at this time.

Moore said Ives’ car, driven by someone else, was involved in a high speed chase with police in Houston after she went missing. Moore also said Ives’ wallet and purse were discarded with her belongings outside a trailer house she had been staying at.
[...]

BBM above. I wonder who this 'someone else' might be, and how that person obtained Erica's car? What was the outcome of this 'high speed chase', and where is this 'someone else' now? Additionally, was she living alone in this 'trailer house'? IMO it's interesting that her personal items were 'discarded' outside this trailer.

So this is a case from my hometown and where my parents still live. I had to do some searching on the map to orient myself with Broadway Ave. It looks like this is the part of Conroe that is more rural and where Conroe meets The Woodlands. I don't know her personally, so I can't be a verified insider, but I may be able to provide some context for the area.

MOO but it would also be helpful to know her relationship status at the time she went missing. Was she living with anyone at the time, and, if so, how would her family and friends describe that relationship?

IMO. From what I can gather, this is the high speed chase
