LUBBOCK, Texas— It has been 13 years since anyone has heard from then 29-year-old Erika Doyle, who was last seen in Lubbock in 2009.

“Erika was always a little bit transient because she was a drug user and so she was homeless most of the time,” Amber (her niece) said.

Amber said they’ve tried police, databases, DNA and even walked the city streets of Lubbock and Pampa hoping someone knew where she was. Madison told us they even searched Erika by her social security number but were unsuccessful.

Regardless of the amount of time passed, Erika’s family said they refuse to stop looking.

“Erika may not be important in some societal standards to some people, but to us she is everything and we’ve waited and we hoped and we’ve tried everything and will continue to try everything,” Madison said.
