MISSING PERSON

The Red Oak Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a missing endangered person. On February 4, 2019; Estean Freeman Jr of Red Oak was reported missing after leaving his residence on Saturday, February 2, 2019 and failing to return. Friends and family members have not heard from him and have unsuccessfully attempted to reach him by phone.
Mr. Freeman has a medical condition that requires medication and he is described as a 51-year-old black male, 6'00, 225 with black hair and brown eyes.

Mr. Freeman was last seen leaving his residence in Red Oak wearing a black jacket, red shirt, and dark-colored sweatpants driving a black Nissan Sentra (TX) LLP-4505.

Body of missing Red Oak man, 51, found in Lake Waxahachie

The body of a 51-year-old Red Oak resident was found Tuesday afternoon in Lake Waxahachie.

At around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Waxahachie Police investigators were called to Lake Waxahachie about a body that was found in the lake. Waxahachie Police recovered the body and upon further investigation, Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Jackie Miller Jr. identified the individual as Estean Freeman Jr. of Red Oak.

Freeman’s vehicle, a black Nissan Sentra, was also retrieved at the site.

“Police officers, detectives and Waxahachie Fire Rescue responded with a boat to recover the remains,” Waxahachie Police Lt. Marcus Brown said.
