ITA it does give the appearance that she has no remorse and I think that is because she truly has no remorse even though she shot a totally innocent young man. It is disgusting.

The Judge could do a lot of things: 1.) just admonish her and reinstate the bond conditions, 2.) revoke bond and put her in jail, 3.) reinstate bond but with a higher bail, or 4.) reinstate bond but with a gps monitor bracelet.

One can hope she was, and is, also tested for long-time alcohol consumption, for example the PEth test, which shows how high alcohol consumption a person has had during the last two weeks or so.

It is interesting to read this article, as the "race" is noted. "White former police officer" "black unarmed man".

Most, if not all articles discussing criminal activity do not mention race of the perpetrator and victim, unless it is in context to a hate crime. It is interesting how the media can frame a situation using bias on a discretionary basis.

No joke, when I heard of this case, I always thought about it in the equal context of if the roles were reverse. He walked into her apartment and thought it was his and fired a shot. To be out, cruising around sends bad optics.. Also where is the remorse and accountability..

A growing trend in the media that has been happening lately in certain descriptions that apply. I wish it would be either omitted outside of stats collected by LE, or always mentioned to be totally transparent and not provoke certain perceived bias in a case that it might not be relevant.

And as for Remorse she does not appear AT ALL remorseful, she appears standoffish and almost proud and her social media really did it for me IMO she just wanted to shoot someone who irritated her .

It is part of a pattern across the country. A very unfortunate pattern backed by statistics that needs to be addressed and hold the perpetrators accountable.

Early on I suggested they test her for anabolic steroids which cause physiological changes in the brain/impair judgement that can result in aggression and impulsivity. It's not too late. These substances would show up in her hair strands.
