I bet the jury will vote for manslaughter.

She is going to be found guilty of something.

BBM.
I hope you're right. This cannot be hung. There has to be a real consequence.

They just started deliberations.

Since they have to find someone either guilty or innocent, I would not just rush anything.

I think they're actually at lunch?

I would be surprised if it was a hung jury, but with jurors, you just never know.

Will the jury still be sequestered during deliberation?

Rest In Peace to Bo. I pray justice is served for his beautiful soul.

If she’s convicted of murder and gets a 10 year or less sentence from the jury she’s eligible for bond on appeal. More than 10 year sentence and she goes straight to prison.

Prosecutor rips Amber Guyger’s ‘garbage’ testimony during closing arguments of former Dallas police officer’s murder trial

A prosecutor ripped Amber Guyger's testimony as "garbage" on Monday during closing arguments of the former Dallas police officer's murder trial.

Guyger was “an intruder” in Botham Jean’s apartment when she fatally shot him in September of 2018, according to Assistant District Attorney Jason Fine. Guyger, who was fired soon after the shooting, reiterated on the stand that she mistook his apartment for her own after working a long shift.

I still expect riots, even if she is found guilty of manslaughter

Actions have to have consequences...

The state made a good point about her not following procedures to enter the apartment and that she had decided to go in with gun drawn.

As another said no one wins but imo she does need to be held accountable for his death

I believe she will be
I just don't think the jury will find her guilty of murder

Good, the jury can consider Manslaughter charges and Murder.

I am going with murder.

Me neither. I think it will be manslaughter too

is criminal negligence on the table?

I would think so since the jury has been sequestered since the beginning.

Does suck for the jurors but I do think that is for best. Significantly less chance of influence

State closing- I did not know about the baseball bat. Has that ever been mentioned?

Defense closing- I thought they were very sneaky quoting Ranger Armstrong. I still think Armstrong( in his original longgg entirety) was going to be the defense Hail Mary.
Rut row. It fell flat IMO.
