Found Deceased TX - Frank Lara, 26, San Antonio, 23 June 2019 *arrest*

Frank Lara, 26, last seen June 23rd, is a father of two and now his family believe he's been hurt. They wouldn't elaborate as to why but San Antonio police are looking into their concerns.

Family members say he went live on Facebook at the time and there was nothing out of the ordinary.

They say he called his mother afterward and told her he was heading over to see her. Family members began to worry when he didn't show up and their calls went straight to voicemail.

Frank is an outgoing tattoo artist who no one has seen or heard from since late last month.

Family members began to worry when he didn't show up and their calls went straight to voicemail.

They say it's highly unusual for Frank not to call or stop by.

They also say Frank would not under any circumstances stay away from his 8-year old daughter, and his 3-year old son whose birthday he recently missed.

What a gorgeous family Frank has. I got the feeling reading around on msm and elsewhere he may have been involved in some stupid gangster stuff. IMO Too bad bc he has lots to lose.

Loved ones searched without success for three months until detectives called Saturday requesting photos showing tattoos on Lara's hands and arms to make a positive identification of the body.

"It's just a whole different type of knowing that he's gone and not coming back," Garcia said.

Investigators say a rancher found Lara's body Saturday on Privilege Creek Road off Highway 16 in Bandera County.

It's confirmation and the start of closure for the family.

Christian Macias, 24, and Jason Daniel Davis, 23, are accused in the shooting death of 26-year-old Frank Lara Jr., according to San Antonio Police.

SAPD spokeswoman Officer Alisia Pruneda said Macias was already in jail on other charges, while Davis was arrested by authorities Wednesday.

Police said Macias' cousin told investigators that after he was reported missing they confessed to her they killed Lara, according to the affidavit. The cousin was in a dating relationship with Lara.

Macias told his cousin that he, Davis and Lara were in the car with Lara in the front passenger seat on June 23, the affidavit said. Macias was in the backseat and shot Lara twice in the neck. They then put Lara in the trunk and drove out to a ranch in Bandera County where a possible third person helped them hide the body.
