I'm crying. It's not like I didn't know this poor little boy had suffered, that he had passed, etc etc, but to know his name, to see his little face.

I alerted the mods to have Jaden's thread moved.

@galvestonpd didn't release specifics on how Jayden Lopez, 4, was killed. He did live in Houston & his little body was dumped on Galveston beach in October. Investigation ongoing. #littlejacob #justiceforjayden

Police aren’t releasing many other details right now. Police haven’t located or identified Jayden’s father.

#BREAKING These two women, Rebecca Suzanne Rivera and Dania Amezquita Gomez, have been arrested in the case of "Little Jacob" - the boy whose body was found on a Galveston beach in October 2017. The boy has now also been identified as 4-year-old Jayden Alexander Lopez.

Also wanted to take this opportunity to thank those members of the public who cared enough to call in tips. Without their help, identifying this little boy would have been a much tougher task for LE.

I know they were just arrested, but any idea how long this has been in the works?

I only ask because I saw her name mentioned in this public notices thing out of Harris County in early may. Different county but maybe that's where they were living? Anyone know?

It mentions another child (age 3) with same last name as Jayden. And I think the presser mentioned another child age 3. So I am assuming this is the same Rebecca Suzanne Rivera.
