Nothing new, but Little Jacob's story is featured in the Wall Street Journal:

The Haunting, Heartbreaking Mystery of 'Little Jacob'

GALVESTON, Texas — The little boy’s body was found on the beach here one October afternoon, spotted by a passerby walking along the surf just before dusk. Nobody knew how he got there. Nobody knew his name. Nobody came looking for him.

Is this now in national news then? Is it the first report in national news?
Excuse my ignorance but I only know what I read here about Little Jacob and can't understand if this hasn't been made known nationally.

As far as I know this is the first story of Little Jacob that I have seen in the national news. It's sad because all coverage has been local unless I missed a report. I live in East Texas and I just happened across Little Jacob's story on twitter and came to Websleuths because I knew the great posters here would be on top of Little Jacob's case!

I keep hoping that if any clothing was found in the same area as Little Jacob's body that LE would release a description or photo of the clothing. I cannot help but think of little Bella Bond in regards to Jacob's case. Someone knows who this child is and I hope they will do the right thing and talk to LE.

Story of Little Jacob in the WSJ copied by MSN. I'm so glad to see he's getting national coverage. Gulf coast states have been notified. Still no COD.

Even though this article is a repeat, it's worth posting for more eyes to be on the look out for possible matches to give Little Jacob his name.

We haven't forgotten you little one. You are still in our hearts and we want you to have your name back. Someone knows who you are.

I hope the extra publicity will help. Although you'd think local coverage would be best, sometimes people move away from family and maybe relatives in another state will come forward. I hope so, anyway.

Also the cheekbones and the small pointed chin.

Yes, the shape of his little face. I keep hoping/praying that there is someone that is missing Little Jacob. A grandparent or even a friend of the parent like in Bella's case. Then I think about trafficking too.

Also where in the hell do you find more information out about this little one? I'm looking everywhere for his story and I can find a grand total of nothing. Honestly, sometimes yes we do have to pick apart cases with very little information here but the US does well when it comes to dealing with it's missing. There is usually a lot of information out there. Even the UK isn't equipped like that. I find any UK cases hard to decipher with the lack of information provided and attention they get.

There are so many missing little boys from Honduras that I am baffled and have been completely taken aback by it. I don't know what to make of it. I would like to know more about this particular little boys' circumstances because he looks so much like Jacob. Is the picture enough to call it in? So many I found are similar to Jacob, I stopped linking them.
